This sunset was so cool. The cloud formations and clear area in the middle of the clouds made the sun set light up red in places.
It looked very dramatic.
The funny thing is the next morning the clouds still looked like this. It was really windy here so the clouds didn't stay around for too long.
But it looked interesting while they were around and over the mountains. I was standing in my alley when I took this picture. You can see how close I am to the shopping center next door. The grocery store is right there on the right side of the picture. It's very convenient for it to be that close.
We had some clouds move over us and it was nice that it blocked out the sun for a while. No rain of course.
That is an odd cloud. It looks like a long narrow solid clump across an otherwise mostly-cloudless sky. Too bad it still didn't bring any rain.

ReplyDeleteAll we are having are ones that look foggy, but high up, and block the sun.
The first one looks like hell is coming your way and the last one like from an animated movie.
