One of the sunsets this month. There were a lot of clouds.
A sunrise with some strange clouds in the sky.
A woodpecker showed up in my courtyard. He was pretty high up in the tree so we didn't get a great picture of him but that was neat. I've never seen a woodpecker around here before.
The sky was so bright this morning.
Interesting sunrise with that line of beautiful colour.

DeleteWe have a woodpecker couple in one of our trees. We tend to hear them more than we see them.
ReplyDeleteYeah he was a noisy little fella.
DeleteI would love to see and hear woodpeckers.
ReplyDeleteLove your skyscapes.
Thanks so much.
DeletePretty sunsets 😀
ReplyDeleteThank you.
DeleteGreat sky photos. I'm an avid birdwatcher so seeing woodpecker is incredible.
ReplyDeleteThank you. He was hard to get a picture of too.
DeleteWe get a lot of woodpeckers. They are fun to watch.
ReplyDeleteYes they are.

ReplyDeleteI do too.
DeleteSuch a beautiful sunrise!
ReplyDeleteThank you.
DeleteThat woodpecker did a good job hiding in the picture. Beautiful sunsets/rises!
ReplyDeleteIt was difficult to see him. He was high up in the tree.
DeleteThe only woodpecker I've noticed lately was the one that was pecking on our building's cedar siding!
ReplyDeleteOh no. lol
DeleteBeautiful
ReplyDeleteThanks.
DeleteSuch pretty sky shots! And I love your woodpecker! I know we've got one around here because I hear him going at it, but I've not caught a glimpse in a long while.
ReplyDeleteThank you. They are noisy little buggers.
DeleteSurprised to see a woodpecker in the city. I've saw plenty when out west, but mostly higher in elevation where there were more trees.
ReplyDeleteI was surprised to see one around here too.
DeleteWoodpeckers are common where I live so I had to look up woodpeckers in Las Vegas. I found there are several - at least two of them (Downy and Red Bellied) are common here, too. Loved your last picture - nice sunset! Alana ramblinwitham.blogspot.com
ReplyDeleteThank you. I don't see the woodpeckers around her too often.
DeleteI had a pesky woodfecker who used to peck on my outside AC unit for some reason, it was extremely irritating.
ReplyDeleteOh I bet it was.
DeleteIt's wild to see birds you've never seen in person before.
ReplyDeleteYes it is.
DeleteBeautiful skies! Love the sunrise, it's a beauty. Nice capture of the woodpecker.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much.
DeleteYou sure have some magical skies out your way. That woodpecker is a pretty one.
ReplyDeleteThank you.
DeleteI've got quite a collection of bird feeders in my backyard. Woodpeckers are some of my favorite visitors!
ReplyDeleteBird feeders would be fun to have.
DeleteHow cool to see the woodpecker! I enjoyed your Sky shots a lot. Thank you! Aloha!
ReplyDeleteThank you, I appreciate that.
DeleteWe get woodpeckers here, too, but not that species. I like the pattern on his back. I need to look him up! Great photos, Mary!
ReplyDeleteThank you.
DeleteI've never ever seen a woodpecker. The stripes aren't much protection against predators!
ReplyDeleteIt's been a while since I've seen one so this was cool.
DeleteNice photographs Mary, pleased you shared them here.
ReplyDeleteAll the best Jan
Thank you.
