Book Description
I thought being kidnapped by four-armed blue apes was as weird as life was going to get.
Boy, was I wrong...
We've crashed, our captors have fled, and now we've been rounded up by a group of tall, horned men. With scales. Who don't understand a word we say.
So why does my heart flutter when their leader touches me? When his eyes flash silver, something deep inside me answers.
But if I lose my heart, how can I keep myself and the other women safe?
Rescued by her Alien Mate is the first book of the Warriors of the D'Tali science fiction romance series. Each book contains a complete HEA for our couple, and lots of steamy SFR fun!
My Review
Sophia wakes up locked in a cage on an alien ship, flying across the Universe to be sold as a slave. There are other women there who have also been captured and are on their way to be sold. They can't understand the aliens until they are forced one by one into a chair where they are painfully implanted with a communication device.
Just as they think there's no hope, the spaceship crashes on an alien planet and soon afterwards more aliens show up to help them. But they can't communicate with these new aliens at all. While the communication device planted into the women make it possible for them to understand the aliens, the aliens cannot understand the women. The communication devices didn't help the women speak other alien languages. Once they are done walking back to King Dojak's palace, Sophia tries to get across to him that they need to go back to the crashed ship and snag the communication devices and implant them into him and his men, if they have any chance at ever understanding each other.
Sophia and Dojak feel something for each other right from the very first touch, Dojak knows that Sophia is his mate and he wants her but he's not sure his people will accept her because she's an alien. But in order to get to really know her, he has to be able to communicate with her so they trek back to the crashed ship to get the communication devices and implant them into he and his men.
This is the first book in this series and it sets up the 12 Earth women to find their mates with these new aliens that rescued them. I'm glad that they were rescued and not sold into slavery and they find their mates so that they find they happily ever after.
This is a quick, cute read especially if you like alien romance.
I give this book 4 out of 5 stars.
