Hope everyone has a good day. I decided to stay home today. My hubby and daughter went to one of the big parks for the fireworks and festivities. Better than ezra is playing at the park and a few other bands are going to be there too. It started earlier today and is going until 9pm tonight when they set off the fireworks. Ken and my daughter left here about an hour ago and are going to stay for the fireworks tonight. I just didn't want to be there with all the people and out in this 108 degree temperature. They keep showing the park on the news. It's at a park called Desert Breeze and they called it Red White and Boom. lol They charged $12.00 for each person to get into the park and see the fireworks and the bands.
They also made it impossible to park close enough to the park to see the fireworks reall good for free. Oh well.I'm just glad i'm not out there.
I went to a car show this morning, I put up one pic on my blog. Tonight I stayed home, I haven't been to a fireworks show in years. There are enough fireworks here, with the neighbors trying to blow up the town with whatever they are shooting off this year.
ReplyDeleteI could not believe all th4e little kids, like 8 years old that were setting off bottle rockets right across the street. The cops got called cause those fireworks are illegal here and the mother of the kids got taken to jail for letting her small children light fireworks., It was a crazy night.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad we didn't have any fires from the fireworks here. We have enough fires allready.
