This flyer was in the junk mail I received in my mail box the other day. A fast food restaurant is selling a Ramen Burger. Yes, you read that right and this is totally for real. They use ramen noodles instead of buns. Nope, not gonna be eating there. lol
Good for them for offering alternative choices, but I'm with you—I will NOT be giving this burger a try. Thanks, but no thanks! LOL
ReplyDeleteI confess, I've eaten uncooked Ramen for a snack.
ReplyDeleteUmm yeah, no to that and buns
ReplyDeletesounds weird
ReplyDeleteCarmel- Someone just told me that a Japanese restaurant near them uses rice as buns. lol
ReplyDeleteUnknown- lol I've never thought of doing that.
Pat- lol I would not eat this even if it was free.
Adam- It does.
Pat doesn't like...um... buns. So how come you always say, "Check out those buns!"? I'm so confused.
ReplyDeleteHi Mary. Yeah they can keep those, alright.
That doesn't even sound good! Ramen noodles are cheap, though, so it's probably cost effective!
ReplyDeleteick! :)
ReplyDeleteramen is so dang salty. i wonder if they add the seasoning, too.
Blue Grumpster- lol good question.
ReplyDeleteStephanie- I know, it's awful stuff.
TexWisGirl- I agree.
OH I just was talking about this in a group I'm in but it wasn't from a restaurant just a recipe for the ramen "bun" They added cheese and egg and something else to it to hold/cook the noodles together. Very odd choice.
ReplyDeleteI think I'm in the minority here when I say I would legitimately like to try that.
