Product Review: Accurate Finger Pulse Oximeter

Product Description

The newly upgraded Acc U Rate® CMS 500DL Generation 2 Fingertip Pulse Oximeter can now read SpO2 up to 100%! Designed for sports enthusiasts, pilots or anyone who wants to obtain their SpO2 (Blood Oxygen Saturation Levels) and PR (Pulse Rate) on the go, the measurement now faces instead away from the user. We have also upgraded many internal components of the pulse oximeter.

My Review

I bought this because my family is prone to getting really sick when we get a cold. Several times my husband and daughter have ended up getting pneumonia after catching a cold and the first thing the doctors do when you go in with breathing problems is put one of these things on your finger to check your oxygen levels. So I thought this would be something important to have around.

It's incredibly easy to use, you just put it on your finger and press the power button. After about 5 seconds it shows you what your oxygen level is and what your pulse is.

It comes with a lanyard that you can attach to it and wear around your neck or hang somewhere. This would also make a great gift for sports enthusiasts who want to measure their blood oxygen levels or for new CNA's (Certified nursing assistants) or anyone in the medical field who you know would want something like this.

If you'd like to buy one for yourself, you can find it here

  4. I never had a doctor test my osygen levels as far as I can remember. It does sound neat to be able to measure it yourself. The pulse function probably would be handy for sporters indeed.
