My Review
I got these medical scissors to have in my first aid bag because you never know when you'll have to cut some fabric for a sprained wrist, cut bandages or cut a shirt or pants off of someone who needs your help when they can't do it themselves. I think it's important for everyone to know basic first aid. I took a basic first aid class before my daughter was born and even though that was more than 24 years ago, I still remember what they taught in the class and if I need a reminder, I can always use Google.
If you have a small child or like me have a grandson, I think it's important to have a basic knowledge of what to do in an emergency and these medical scissors or scissors of a similar nature are something that should be in a first aid bag.
They cut bandages, medical tape and clothes with ease.
If you'd like to buy these scissors, you can find them here.
Interesting product and review. Have a nice week!
ReplyDeleteThanks, you too.
DeleteI've never seen those before! Good idea.
ReplyDeleteIt's what the paramedics in the ambulance use when cutting your clothes off.
DeleteFirst I've heard of those too. I got some sharp scissors though, in case anything needs to be cut.
ReplyDeleteIt's what the paramedics in the ambulance use when cutting your clothes off so they cut fabric really easily.
DeleteGood point about being prepared. Not like we can predict an emergency first aid situation, but we can plan ahead and be prepared.
ReplyDeleteSo true, Mary! You never know when something like this would come in handy - with family or friends. I love that you post this, because you let us know about things we may not think about, but could definitely use. Hugs...
ReplyDeleteI took a first aid class when I was in school, but I've forgotten some by now. I did buy a new first aid kit last year as our previous one was half empty and dind't have everything anymore. I am not sure if there is a scissor in the kit, I do think so.
ReplyDeleteAnd I agree it's always good to be prepared and have a first aid kit or knowledge of what to do.
I actually have a similar set in my First Aid kit...great review
