DegustaBox is a monthly subscription box filled with food and drink products. The price for the box is $19.99 a month.
You do not get to pick any of the products you get, it's a surprise each month. But they say each box contains 10-15 items and each box is worth at least $30. I like trying boxes like this because they usually contain products that I've never tried or haven't seen before.
In this box was...
Navitas Naturals snack bar
Briannas Cilantro Lime Dressing
Ritz Crisp Thins Crackers
Hodgson Mills Apple Cinnamon Muffin Mix
Brooklyn Organics Ginger Ale
Julian's Recipe Lemon Waffle Thins
PopCorners Bean Crisps
Entenman's Mini Apple Pie Snacks
Bibigo BBQ Sauce
Sir Kensington's Ketchup
Viter Energy Caffeinated Mints
Sir Kensington's Yellow Mustard
Bibigo sample of Sweet and Hot Sauce
Now this month's box was a huge success. We've tried everything and it was all a big hit. I didn't like using the BBQ sauce as a bbq sauce so I used it as a marinade instead. It just wasn't really thick enough to be a good bbq sauce.
The bean crisps and lemon waffle thins are really good and I shared some with my grandson when he came over and he loved them. I also loved the Cilantro Lime dressing. If you been seeing some of my food posts, you already know that I use quite a lot of cilantro and lemon. Lemons and limes are very interchangeable to me so I can use both for the same thing. I was quite happy with this month's box.
The Ginger Ale drink was awful though. Ken and I both tried it and after just one sip we were both ready to throw it away.
Now here's a treat for you. If this box looks like something you'd like, you can use code MARYK-ACB and get your first box half off. That's a big box of food for only $10! and you can cancel anytime. So if you're interested, go to the DegustaBox site and sign up and don't forget to use my code to get your first box for just $10.
I love lemons, limes, and cilantro, too so I'd gladly try anything with them as an ingredient. Too bad about the ginger ale.
ReplyDeleteEverything was good except for that.
DeleteMm the muffin mix
ReplyDeleteYeah, and sadly they were kinda dry.
DeleteI love Navitas! This box looks good and lots of goodies! Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteThis months box was a good one.
DeleteI have had the Ritz crackers only. Is the cilantro strong in the dressing? I like lime!
ReplyDeleteYeah you can taste the cilantro in this dressing.
DeleteI had deja vu when I read this piece. Flashback post on Desgustabox? It's all Cheese-it Crackers for me. I still think I like original flavor the most.
ReplyDeleteYeah I get the box every month so I review what they send me on the blog each month. You probably saw last month's post too. lol
DeleteYes, this was a good box. I enjoyed a lot of it. Ate the heck out of those little apple pies. lol The handful of things I cant eat went to the USO so no waste here :)
ReplyDeleteThis was a good box. There were just a couple of things that I didn't care for. The muffins came out dry.
DeleteThat's a lot of stuff
ReplyDeleteIt is, and a great price.
DeleteWow, sure lots of things to try on the fly!
ReplyDeleteYeah, that's one of the reasons I like this box.

DeleteWow! That's a lot of goodies, Mary! Anything with lemon, and I'm all in. Hugs...
ReplyDeleteThey were so good.
DeleteYum, lemon, limes and cilantro! The Lemon thins sound good. Never really been a fan of Ginger Ale.
ReplyDeleteYeah it was all mostly good. The drink was not.
DeleteWhat an interesting box, but there is no way that I would have been able to use try everything. I'll have some of those lemon waffle crisps thank you. :) ~Aleen
ReplyDeleteI usually give my daughter the things I don't want. lol
DeleteYum! Everything sounds amazing. I think subscription boxes are a great way to try new items that you might not have heard of before. #getsocial17
ReplyDeleteI love the subscription boxes. This is I think the 4th food box that I've tried and the longest one I've stuck with.
DeleteLooks like a really fun box. Hi from Deanna's World. Glad to visit as part of the #getsocial17 event.
ReplyDeleteIt is. Thanks for visiting.
DeleteThere a lot of these boxes. Every other month I have a blue apron box sent...Coffee is on
ReplyDeleteThere are so many great boxes to try. I tried a Green Chef box but it wasn't cost effective for me.
DeleteIf you do sign up you'd get a different box next month. It's different products each month.
ReplyDeleteI never knew boxes like this existed. I’m a super picky eater so I’m not sure they would be the best for me. But maybe they would get me out of my comfort zone. You got lots of great goods this month Mary :)
ReplyDeleteThey've had some really great boxes and for the price it's jut fun to get and see what they'll send.
DeleteThat makes me hungry! My daughter and I have considered starting up a monthly book box program but we wouldn't begin to know where to start. Sounds like you got some wonderful stuff. Enjoy! - Mama Vicky
ReplyDeleteThat's a really interesting idea. I'm sure many readers would like that.
