My Review
I haven't tasted honey in about 15 years. People who know me know that I have a 'thing' about bee's and since honey is essentially bee vomit *as one of my friends pointed out* I don't typically touch the stuff. But I had a Honey Bun not too long ago as well as a granola bar that had honey in it and I thought both were quite good. So when I was asked if I'd be interested in reviewing a bottle of honey, I figured, why not.
The first thing I tried the honey in was my tea and I only used a little bit, maybe a teaspoon but it was just enough to sweeten my tea the right amount. Now Ken happens to love honey and the first thing he did was make a peanut butter and honey sandwich. I'd never heard of this before but he said that he used to have them when he was a kid and I even had a bite of it. It's sweet and I can understand why he likes it since he likes peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. It's sweet and goes good with peanut butter.
This is a squeeze bottle so it's really easy to get the honey out and it's not messy at all. Ken and I are both happy with the quality and taste of this honey and I'll probably use it a little more often now that I have a bottle of it.
I give this 4 out of 5 stars.
Disclosure: I was given a free product in exchange for a review but all thoughts and opinions are my own.
Good that it comes out without a mess indeed.

DeleteMy daughter uses honey in a ton of things. She really loves it.

DeleteI like honey.
ReplyDeleteHoney doesn't bother me, but anything raw (unpasteurized) freaks me out! Lol, we all have our issues.

ReplyDeleteGlad to hear it.
DeleteMostly I have honey as an ingredient in something, but I do love it on corn bread. My husband has it in tea, on sandwiches, and tons of other things.
ReplyDeleteLOL, yes, one does have to ignore what it really is.
lol Hard to ignore.
DeleteI'm like Super Sophia and typically use honey as an ingredient in waffles or cake mixes. Years ago, when I used to sing, I tend to use it in tea to help a scratchy throat. I would definitely give this one a try, and glad you guys really like it! Hugs...
ReplyDeleteIn tea is was pretty good.
DeleteI love honey on toast! And I also take it in warm water in the mornings.
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by.
DeleteI love honey. I don't use it much but it's definitely a staple when I have herbal tea. I usually buy organic honey. It's good stuff.
ReplyDeleteI haven't had it in years. But it was good.
DeleteI love honey, but I don't use it often.
ReplyDeleteI doubt I'll buy more once this is gone.
DeleteI love honey and try to use it as a substitute for refined sugar in my baking. It tends to make my baked goods really moist and sweet.
ReplyDeleteI see it on your blog often.
DeleteI use honey a lot these days and it's so messy to get out of the freaking jar. I might have to look foe this one though since it's a squeezable one. Thanks for the review.
ReplyDeleteSqueezable is definitely the way to go.
DeleteI don't like the taste of honey, so I don't eat it. I've tried it multiple times, but it's not for me. I am glad you liked this honey and the squeezable bottle does sound very handy.
ReplyDeleteThe bottle made it easy to use.
DeleteLOL yeah bee vomit. I can understand that. I do like it in certain things, though :)
ReplyDeleteI just have a hard time knowing what it is. lol
