I've been getting these Walmart Beauty Boxes for quite a while because they are only $5 shipped. But they are supposed to come every 3 months. This box came on December 28th, 2017. It was supposed to ship out in September of 2017 but for whatever reason it didn't. I was charged for this box in November of 2017 and an entire month went by before I reached out to customer service to find out why it hadn't shipped yet. They sent back a vague reply but told me that the next box would ship out in January of 2018. *We'll see if that happens* So I took to Twitter and made a post about not getting the box even though I had been charged for it. Less than 2 days went by before I was sent an email with tracking info letting me know my box had shipped. Coincidence? I doubt it.
The Walmart Beauty box is a subscription box that comes out 4 times a year. You sign up for it and it comes automatically every 3 months *or they're supposed to*. These boxes are just $5 each and shipping is free.
I usually love these boxes because for $5, there's usually a lot of products in the box. This box however is my least favorite. It seems like they really didn't take the time to figure out what to put in this box and the samples of products that we usually get just aren't as good as what I've received in the past. They have you fill out a survey on their site so they can tailor the samples to you. I have long hair and would never use that hair glue. This was a fail for me.
So what did I get?
Sample of Got2b glued styling glue.
Sample of Dove body wash.
Sample of Jergens wet skin moisturizer.
Found charcoal sheet mask.
Sample foil packet of Olay Luminous tone perfecting cream.
CoverGirl Vitalist Healthy Elixir foundation- sample card.

I think if they are going to continue with this box they really need to get their shit together. It shouldn't take over a month after paying for something for it to ship. If they don't have enough people working in this department then they should hire more or just cancel this subscription box all together.
Damn, that is a long arse time to wait.
ReplyDeleteYeah it really was.
Deletenice haul
ReplyDeleteThanks.
DeleteYeah ditto for me Mary, I think this beauty box sucked and I told them so. Not worth $5
ReplyDeleteYep, I did too. Hopefully the next one will be better.
DeleteI didn't even know they had beauty boxes.
ReplyDeleteYep, they are automatically mailed out every 3 months. Or at least they are supposed to be.
DeleteAt least you got it in the end
ReplyDeleteYeah, at least I did finally get it.
DeleteWhen I get mad at a company, I love to read their Twitter and Facebook pages....lol! Good job!
ReplyDeleteYes, I agree. I tagged them in a Tweet I made a while back about this box. No response of course.
DeleteI heard others were having the same issue!
ReplyDeleteYeah, they seem to be having issues a plenty.
DeleteHuh! You know I don't think I ever received mine. I definitely don't remember those products. I'll have to see if I was charged. Oy.
ReplyDeleteI hope they didn't charge you for it if they didn't send it.
DeleteMaybe they will get their act together soon.
ReplyDeleteI can only hope.
DeleteFor $5 it is a good bargain I suppose.
ReplyDeleteI wasn't happy with this box.
DeleteBesides the problem that you had, it sounds like a pretty good deal for the size of the samples. Hope that doesn't happen again. :(
ReplyDeleteI hope not too.
DeleteI usually love their boxes but I was thinking the same thing.
ReplyDeleteSorry about the issues ...
ReplyDeleteMaybe you'll have to decide if you'll keep your subscription going ...
All the best Jan
Thanks.
