This is a new weekly blog post that I'm calling Apartment Hell Life. I've mentioned a few times some of the crazy things that go on in and around my apartment complex in the past 20 years that we've lived here and people keep telling me I should write a book. But instead of a book, I've decided to share the crazy things that have happened in and around my apartment complex in the last 20 years here in a weekly blog post.
Back in 2013 the cops were called for the guy across from me. He had been going to all the neighbors doors asking for lightbulbs and $5 so he can get a beer. So someone called the police on him. I just caught the end of it. They left after telling him to leave the neighbors alone.
The saga continues... an hour after the cops came the first time...they were baaackk!
I have no idea why the police came back and they didn't stay long but the guy stopped knocking on people's doors after that.
The police get called for the craziest things around here.
So that's it for this week's Apartment Hell Life! Be sure to come back next week for more.

Deleteah yes that's weird
ReplyDeleteSure was.
DeleteWhat an odd thing to ask for lol
ReplyDeleteWell, he did get a couple of lightbulbs from the maintenance guy.
DeleteI am trying to recall if any of my neighbors ever knocked on my door asking me for anything. One knocked on my door and offered me their old grill because they got a new one. That was awesome. :)

That is awesome.
DeleteLol on the lightbulb! Some weird chick in my old neighborhood knocked on my door asking if she could buy a stamp! I sold her one!😂
ReplyDeleteNow that I can understand.
DeleteGee a lot of time your local ulties will give a light bulb.
ReplyDeleteCoffee is on
The maintenance man gave him one.
DeleteLoL That's definitely an interesting story. I could see asking your neighbor for a household item, but then to ask for money on top of that to purchase alcohol? C'mon man!
ReplyDeleteHe was always asking for weird things.
DeleteToo weird haha Has he asked for other odd things too??
ReplyDeleteHe only lived here for a few months.
DeleteWe only get Jehovah's Witnesses and Environmental petition people knocking on the door and I am thankful for that :)
ReplyDeleteI wish that's all we got. lol
DeleteI am trying to figure out what the lightbulbs are for? Weird.
ReplyDeleteI would love to know.
