This is a new weekly blog post that I'm calling Apartment Hell Life. I've mentioned a few times some of the crazy things that go on in and around my apartment complex in the past 20 years that we've lived here and people keep telling me I should write a book. But instead of a book, I've decided to share the crazy things that have happened in and around my apartment complex in the last 20 years here in a weekly blog post.
This one if from back in 2013, I stood at my door and took this picture while Ken was whispering, "Mary, stop it the cops gonna see you." So what, what is he gonna do, arrest me for picture taking?LOL
Police came knocking on several doors in my courtyard trying to find the address 115 *insert street name here* All of us told the three cops that this side was 113 and the other side was 117 and there wasn't a 115 *insert street name here* I don't think they believed us.
I looked out the bedroom window and the three cops were across the street going from courtyard to courtyard knocking on all the #5's. lol They couldn't find the apartment they are looking for. I bet someone was messing with them and gave them the wrong address on purpose. They left after a few minutes of looking and not finding who or what they were looking for.
Side note: There used to be a building 115 but it was torn down years ago to make room for the freeway expansion.
So that's it for this week's Apartment Hell Life! Be sure to come back next week for more.
Lol, how random!
ReplyDeleteI wonder if whoever gave the wrong address remembered that 115 had been torn down or whether they always just thought it was weird that there was a 113 and a 117 but no 115...
I don't know but they sure looked hard for it.
Deletehaha maybe they should have found a sewer grate and went under the freeway, if it even has one.
ReplyDeletelol
DeleteI bet you're right and that someone knew that there was no 115, so that is what they gave them for their address.

That's what we were thinking.
DeleteThey are probably still looking somewhere!
ReplyDeletelol probably.
DeleteWow! Talk about wasting a ton of time! But it was weird that 115 was missing. Hugs...RO
ReplyDeleteIt got torn down a few years ago.
Delete123 fake street
ReplyDeletelol Yep.
DeleteYeah, sounds like a prank to me lol
ReplyDeleteMe too.
DeleteOmg
ReplyDeletelol
DeleteHaha! He was worried they'd notice you.
ReplyDeleteHe's funny that way. lol
DeleteHow mysterious! Could be a premise to a mystery novel. LOL.
ReplyDeletelol That would be fun.
DeleteI wonder if they ever found who they were looking for. You would think they would have some kind of map or something to show them exactly where to go. I mean, what if it was a real emergency and they didn't know where they were going?
ReplyDeleteOnce they left I didn't see them around here again that day so who knows.
DeleteThat is kind of funny that they were knocking on doors to try to find an address. You would think that they would have all of the address numbers on the street on their computer.
ReplyDeleteYou would think.
DeleteHow very Twilight Zone, lol. Hopefully it was a joke and someone wasn't hurt and they received the wrong information.
ReplyDeleteDo You Dog-ear?
I think it was a prank.
DeleteLol too weird
ReplyDeleteMy thoughts exactly.
DeleteNope. lol
