This is a new weekly blog post that I'm calling Apartment Hell Life. I've mentioned a few times some of the crazy things that go on in and around my apartment complex in the past 20 years that we've lived here and people keep telling me I should write a book. But instead of a book, I've decided to share the crazy things that have happened in and around my apartment complex in the last 20 years here in a weekly blog post.
A few years ago we had a neighbor named Chuck. He was a sarcastic jerk and was always doing things to irritate me. I was standing outside one day trying to get a good picture of all the hail we were getting that day and this fool starts gathering up handfuls of hail and throwing it at me. So I started snapping pictures of him since he hated to have his picture taken for some reason.
I just wanted a picture of the hail.
He also had this plaque in his window that said, National Sarcasm Society. He was definitely sarcastic.
So that's it for this week's Apartment Hell Life! Be sure to come back next week for more.
I hate having my photo taken too. And some would say I am sarcastic. I don't throw hail though.
ReplyDeletelol At least you don't throw hail.
DeleteKnowing his character and to avoid hostility, perhaps you should have told him about your intention to capture the hail only, not his persona.
ReplyDeleteI doubt that would have worked. He was always doing things like this.
DeleteHail isn't like flinging a snowball - it's like flinging rocks. Yes, jerk!
ReplyDeleteI know. I'm so glad he's gone.
DeleteDouchebag indeed. Who throws hail? geez.
ReplyDeleteThis idiot did. lol
DeleteSarcastic jerks, sounds like the name of the game in my building. We have a little lobby in our building and all the 'oldies but goodies' who have nothing better to do come and gossip. I was the name of the gossip yesterday as my baby called a neighbor by accident at 7am. Opps! lol
ReplyDeletelol Living in an apartment complex sure is interesting.
DeleteUgh ahole alert
ReplyDeleteBig ahole.
DeleteJerks R Us fur sure!
ReplyDeleteYes.
Deletepffff
ReplyDeletelol
DeleteSounds like a bratty kid lol
ReplyDeleteChuck sounds like a great neighbor. Why would you throw hail at someone?
ReplyDeleteThat's just crazy! Does he think he's funny or something? You can't throw things at people. Rude!
ReplyDeleteHe thought he was funny. Thankfully he moved away.
DeleteThrowing soft snow is one thing but hail!
ReplyDeleteOuch that could hurt!!!
Hope you have a good week ahead Mary.
All the best Jan
It did too.
DeleteCertainly sounds like a strange person!
ReplyDeleteHe was so weird.
DeleteI hope he didn't hit you with that hail, that sounds nasty he threw that at you when you were just trying to take a picture.
ReplyDeleteHe did hit me with it and it wasn't the first time.
DeleteWhat a weirdo!
ReplyDeleteHe really was.
DeleteNow he is on the web. Coffee is on
ReplyDeleteHa ha yes he is.
DeleteYou definitley have some eccentric neighbors.
ReplyDeleteAfter being here for 20 years I've met a lot of crazies.
