Favorite Picture of the Week
My brother sent me this picture from the yard of his new house in Northern Nevada. He said it's cold and the mountains now have snow on them. He moved out to the middle of nowhere. lol
I guess in this context, the "yard" means the desert on his side of the fence, as opposed to the desert on the other side of it?
I hope he's armed. That area looks like most of the neighbors will be wild animals (well, maybe not as dangerous as the ones lurking around your own apartment building).
I'd like to live in the middle of nowhere. So peaceful! Though I'd choose Ireland's nowhere. I was struck dumb with how many stars we saw in the skies there. We have so much light pollution here, you don't get the full scope of how amazing the sky can look at night until it smacks you right in the face unexpectedly.
This is an Award-Free blog. It is a lovely gesture, but I am unable to comply with the terms of the awards so I have made this an Award-Free blog. Thank You for understanding.

ReplyDeletelmao I want to send all my neighbors there and stay here where I can order pizza at midnight..
DeleteSo you live between extremes: your neighbors on one hand, your brother on the other hand.
ReplyDeleteYou're in the middle, the island of sanity.
