Did you know that Jensen Ackles (Dean Winchester from Supernatural) could sing like this? I did! Haha. I've watched so many videos of him singing that I knew he could sing. So when I found out he had a band and they made some songs I went looking for them. His band, Radio Company has several great songs but this is my favorite so far that I've found because dang, it really shows off his voice. I hope you like this one too.

ReplyDeleteI have watched Supernatural, a dark fantasy drama TV series that ran an incredible 15 seasons. I never knew one of the leading men, Jensen Ackles, is also a singer and songwriter, and one half of the Austin, TX-based rock & country band Radio Company (with old friend and former roommate Steve Carlson). He (they) have a great sound, I see that they've streeted two albums. "Drowning" is found on their first album, Vol. 1, released in 2019. I hope they drop more on us.

ReplyDeleteI've been a fan of Carlson's since his Kane days, seen him god knows how many times and absolutely love his music. I have to admit, I was wary when Radio Co Volume 1 came out, didn't know what to expect with Jensen involved, but luckily it blew me away and I fell just as in love
I only found them recently and really like what I've heard so far.

ReplyDeleteI do like Jensen and think he has a lovely voice, but this song was not for me. A little too slow for my tastes. I'll go check out his other songs and see if there's something else there that might catch my ear.
