"Bad Man" is a powerful song made even more powerful by the graphic images contained in the music video. Released late last year on the Disturbed album Divisive, "Bad Man" was inspired by the Russian invasion of Ukraine. It's hard to watch as bodies are torn apart by gunfire and cities and citizens consumed in flames. Along with its reference to V. Putin, "Bad Man" is a durable anti-war song for the ages. It repeatedly asks the question to which there never seems to be an answer. Why do innocent people need to die? Why do cowards bow to the whims of tyrants and do their evil bidding?
Thanks for introducing this song and video to me this morning, dear friend Mary. It's an instant classic. Have a great Saturday and I'll be back to see you tomorrow!
