Favorite Song of the Week
Jeris Johnson- When The Darkness Comes
I found this guy on TikTok a couple of years ago and this is my favorite song from him to date. I like his other stuff but this is just the best one to me. I hope you enjoy.
Dark, menacing, atmospheric groove metal - I love it, Mary! The creepy setting, candles, hellhound and bats add to the excitement generated by the aggressive vocals, doomsday lyrics and sonic blasts. I read that Oregon-based rocker Jeris Johnson was formerly with the band Audio Phobia. He's prolific as well as terrific, with hundreds of great tracks available online.
Yessum, I'm back from my 5-month vacation and resuming my blogging journey. I missed you and my buddy Falcor and hope you and your family are well and in good spirits. In my "comeback special" published this morning, I give a special shout-out to Falcor, so make sure he takes a peek at the post. Have a safe and happy weekend, dear friend Mary. I'll be back tomorrow to see what's going on in your neighborhood.
This is an Award-Free blog. It is a lovely gesture, but I am unable to comply with the terms of the awards so I have made this an Award-Free blog. Thank You for understanding.
