This is a weekly blog post that I'm calling Apartment Hell Life. I've mentioned a few times some of the crazy things that have gone on in and around my apartment complex and in my neighborhood in the past 25 years that I've lived here and people keep telling me I should write a book. But instead of a book, I've decided to share the crazy things that have happened in and around my apartment complex in the last 25 years here in a weekly blog post.
Since it's the last day of the year I thought I would make this a happy post instead of all the bad stuff that happens in my neighborhood. I spotted this old car on the street and thought it looked cool. Maybe one of you know what kind of car it is.

I was walking Falcor and watched as this horse walked out of the Cal Ranch store. I knew they allowed pets in there but this was a first for me. Beautiful horse though.
While we don't have a lot of tree's around here that change color and lose their leaves during the Winter time, this one does. You can see a lot of the leaves on the ground. Give it a week and all the leaves will be gone. I thought it was pretty.
I want to wish you all a Happy New Year.
The high this week was 62F/16C
The low this week was 43F/6C
So that's it for this week's Apartment Hell Life! Be sure to come back next week for more.
Happy New Year. Clean up in Aisle Three takes a whole new meaning watching that horse emerge from the store doesn't it?
ReplyDeleteLol It sure does!
DeleteLove your Happy Year End Post, Happy New Year. The Car, I thought might be a Chevy Bel Air from the Fifties?
ReplyDeleteOk thank you.
DeleteYes, that's a Chevy Bel Air, my Dad had one. Those are all fun photos, love the horse too. Happy New Year from all of us!!!

ReplyDeleteI wanted to end the year on a good note.
DeleteA horse! Wow. And I LOVE that car
ReplyDeleteIt was a fun find for sure.
DeleteWe have a cherry tree that's almost as big as that one, and the blossom in the spring is spectacular.
ReplyDeleteOh I bet.
DeleteThe car and the tree match :) They are both beautiful.
ReplyDeleteThank you.
DeleteHappy New Year, Mary. Great photos - that's wild that there was a horse in the shop!! I hope you and your family have a wonderful year ahead.
ReplyDeleteThank you.
DeleteI admit I have never seen a horse at any store. That was a sight. Happy New Year!
ReplyDeleteNeither had I.
DeleteThe tree is so pretty! They let a horse in the store? Lol! I hope you enjoyed the holidays, Mary! :)
ReplyDeleteThey let animals in that store so I guess a horse is ok too. lol
DeleteIt is a lovely tree, our also sometimes drop leaves in a matter of days sometimes even two nights.
ReplyDeleteIt's still dropping the leaves.
DeleteI have seen horses tied up outside a local feedstore on occasion, but never saw one go in or come out of the store. That is a beautiful horse. And I love the tree photo!
ReplyDeleteIt was fun seeing horse, not something I see everyday. That tree is so pretty in the Summer with all the leaves on it.
DeleteHappy New Year! I hope you have many more good moments in your neighborhood to share with us this year!
