I imagine you meant 47C not 27C LOL We have had a small refreshment in last week or two after the hell of July, but it will again be around 40 at the end of the week.
117°F? That's awful. He'd hate it even more if he burned his paws on the concrete, knowing how hot it can get when the overall temperature is that bad. He'll probably get used to the booties soon enough. Hope you're all staying hydrated.
Yeah it's been really hot the last couple of months. Yesterday it was 114F. Awful. I've been getting up between 4and 5am to take him for a longer walk since it's much cooler then.
Did he finally come around to them? When I had dogs living in upstate NY, I had them wear booties because of the cold/ice. My whippet ended up loving them, my Papillon tolerated them but my other two were like...nope lol
A shame you can't explain to him why he needs to wear the booties. He's just wondering why he's got these annoying things on his feet. The videos are hilarious!
Ah poor Falcor does not seem to be happy with them, but hopefully they do help in protecting his feet against the heat. Sounds like it's super hot where you live.
This is an Award-Free blog. It is a lovely gesture, but I am unable to comply with the terms of the awards so I have made this an Award-Free blog. Thank You for understanding.
Thank you for buying him booties - even if he does hate them.
ReplyDeleteHe still hates them. lol

DeleteThat was smart getting him the protection for his feet so you could still take walks when the heat is so high. Funny watching him adjust to them.
ReplyDeleteWe just stay by the door during the hottest part of the day but the rocks in the courtyard are hot.
DeleteNo Falcor, they aren't going to go away if you keep stomping 🤣.
ReplyDeletelmao The stomping and clomping on the sidewalk was making me laugh.
DeleteOM goodness that so darn cute! I hope they protect his little paws.

Deleteaww. how cute. poor thing, with the heat. :)
ReplyDeleteI don't know why it seems so much more hot this Summer.
DeletePoor little guy. I imagine the sidewalks get really hot.
ReplyDeleteNo, the asphalt on the street and the rocks he steps on are hot but surprisingly not the sidewalks.
DeleteA shame you can't explain to him why he needs to wear the booties. He's just wondering why he's got these annoying things on his feet. The videos are hilarious!
ReplyDeleteI know, poor baby. The videos make me laugh though.
