Some of you readers who have been around for years may remember that years ago I had pet rats. This was Scribbles. He was very curious of the Halloween decorations.
This was Flower, my hairless rat. She was the sweetest little girl and very fond of coming out to check out all the decorations.
This was Lucky. He was my 3 legged rat. Only having 3 legs sure didn't stop him from running around to check everything out though. He even sat there and posed for a picture. lol
And of course Falcor. He grabbed my daughter's stuffed pumpkin and ran around with it.
This was taken last year when I got a bear costume for him. He was not thrilled with it. lol Oh and the name falkor_the_luck_dog is his Instagram page that my daughter made for him.
Falcor pumpkin?
Na na na na na na Batdog!
Falcor is front of my daughter's haunted garden.
Awww. I think I like Bat dog best.

DeleteWhen we had Frodo (mini schnauzer) we never dressed him up! Maybe we should have. Loved seeing your pets through the years, good times.
ReplyDeleteMy dog puts up with me dressing him up. lol
DeleteFalcor is defo not happy with you dressing him up, in the last photo he is contemplating peeing on the garden.

DeleteThe dog costumes are so cute, but I suppose most dogs don't really care for them.
ReplyDeleteFalcor has gotten used to me putting them on him.
DeleteMy brother in law used to keep rats. I never saw the attraction.

DeleteThey are like small dogs, they love attention and are very social.
DeleteDid Fallcor approve this message? :)
ReplyDeleteOf course.
DeleteAhhhh, I remember your rats. Falcor does better with costumes than my cats. :)
ReplyDeleteHe's gotten used to them.
DeleteHe doesn't mind a costume too much but he doesn't like hats.
DeleteLove all of Flacor's costumes.
ReplyDeleteThank you.
DeleteI grew up in New York City and the stories I heard about the wild rats were frightening. I know they are highly intelligent but I would pass on having one (or more, as I understand they are social animals) as pets. Alana ramblinwitham.blogspot.com
ReplyDeleteI thought that too until I had one.
DeleteLove all of the costumes, Mary. I think bat dog is my favorite.
ReplyDeleteHe does look good in his bat wings.
DeleteDefinitely the winged costume for the win. So cute!
ReplyDeleteThank you.
DeleteThe dog allows the costumes? Some do like them while others will not abide them.
ReplyDeleteYes he's gotten used to them.
DeleteThe dog does look cute in its bear clothes.
ReplyDeleteYou certainly go all out for Halloween.

DeleteBatdog has me cracking up! :)
ReplyDeleteSo adorable!! Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteIt looks like Falcor is enjoying Halloween as much as the humans.
ReplyDeleteThese are really fun photos!
ReplyDeleteWe don't do Hallowe'en, although I had three kids and taught 25 years, I sure put my time in. We are too remote for visitors.
