Freebie Friday!

Welcome to another weekly Freebie Friday post, where I tell you what free samples and full-sized products I received in the mail and how you can get them too. Someone asked me why I do a "Freebie Friday" each week, so I'll tell you.

A while back I listed all the free samples and wins that I had received that previous year and so many people didn't believe that I could have gotten so many free things.  I decided to prove it by taking a picture every week and sharing the sites that I found the links to the freebies at. So now you too can get great free samples coming to your mailbox each week.

You can find links to great samples at Hey It's Free and Freebie Shark.

This week I received:

Several sample sized perfumes from Macy's. I really like the Burberry Her, that one smells really nice. They all do but that's my favorite.

I also received a few sample packets of AFK Magnesium and Melatonin powder for sleep support, From Game Supps. I tried one packet and it did put me to sleep but as with most nights I was up and down all night. Pain will do that to you. I have Osteoarthritis in my knees and hips and nothing helps take the pain away so sleeping is hard. But this did make me sleepy.

Did you receive any freebies this week?

  1. I’m sorry for the sleep issues, Mary. I’m up right now at 4 am, but it’s because I’m stressed out, not in pain. Let’s hope for some sleep this weekend!

  2. Nice perfumes :-D Sorry to hear that Mary. The surgeon said I'll probably get that in my broken ankle. I've read exercises help and turmeric. I take turmeric everyday in a tea with ginger, cinnamon, cayenne pepper and lemon juice. I also take honey, garlic and nigella seeds everyday too. I take these all for my immune system but know they help with other things too :-D

  3. Sorry the pain disrupts your sleep. Glad the powder made you sleepy. My wife drinks this herbal tea that makes one sleepy - can't remember what it's called.

  4. I've been taking melatonin for years and it does put me to sleep. And quite honestly it is a pain reliever however you have to take it for a couple months before the next thing you know you realize it does help.

  7. Sorry to hear your pain is so bad it's interrupting your sleep. I put a pillow in between my legs to align my hips and spine. It seems to help.

    1. No. lol My daughter smokes weed, eats edibles, ect. She says it helps but I'm just not interested. I don't drink, smoke or do any kind of drugs other than what my doctor prescribes for me.

    2. It is not a drug in such small quantities and it will erase the life of living in pain, it does such wonders even to the people who suffer from Alzheimer and such horrid diseases.

    3. My daughter has Lupus and RA and she's in pain. She does smoke weed and takes edibles and it does very little for her. It's just not something I would take. It's legal here, we have dispensaries, but I'm not interested.

    1. No, unfortunately. I've been told I'll probably need a need replacement at some point but I'm not going to do that. I react so badly to anesthesia that I refuse any surgeries now.

  12. Nice haul of scents and sleeping powders. Bummer about the night pain that keeps you up. Good thing you go on your walks and eat well so you're at least reducing the pain as much as you can.

    Have a good weekend!

  14. Are the melatonin and magnesium in one powder, or are they separate? I think I need to start taking magnesium. I did melatonin for a couple years. Miracle stuff. That I don't have to take it anymore is a testament to how powerful it is.
