When my grandson comes over on the weekends, he's been walking Falor for me since my back is hurt. I was standing on the step, and he walked him down the sidewalk for me. He's only 13 and he's already taller than I am, and I'm 5'6".
So many clouds, no rain. All of the pictures of clouds were from the same day.
It rained over the mountains though.
I love those big, puffy clouds.
Saw a line of clouds rolling in as I was out with Falcor. I can't walk far so I just stayed in one place and let Falcor do his business.
Popcorn clouds in another direction.
Then took another picture of the line of clouds getting closer.
Later that day there were more clouds over the mountains.
As the sun was setting it looked nice.
I stood out there slowly walking Falcor back home and thought this picture was neat. Sun was almost gone, the clouds were driven off with the wind and the mountains looked black. You can even faintly see a few stars in the sky in my picture.

Those clouds really look rainy. You must have felt cheated when it was wasted on the mountains.
ReplyDeleteHope Falcor feels OK about being walked by a different person. Nice of him to take over some of that for you while you're recovering, though.
I was hoping for some rain from them. As long as someone is walking him he's fine.
DeleteYour grandson looked really happy out there walking Falcor. You really have a variety of Sky photos here. And yes I did look for the star in your last photo and I saw it.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you liked the last photo.
Deletewhat a blessing your grandson is!! Growing fast! Love the cloud photos!
ReplyDeleteYes he is, thank you.
DeleteYour grandson is a good kid. And he;s going to be very tall!
ReplyDeleteYes he's going to be tall.
DeleteIt's nice for your grandson to be able to help you with Falcor. I'm sure Falcor appreciates it, too.
ReplyDeleteLovely skies, and it's so good to see stars.
Thank you.
DeleteAwww, your grandson has really grown. I hope your back feels better soon, Mary.
ReplyDeleteThank you, I hope so too.
DeleteI zoomed in on that sign near McD. I thought it was Cat Ranch, which made me curious. I am still somewhat curious about Cal Ranch, assuming that I am seeing it correctly.
ReplyDeleteCal Ranch is a ranch store. They carry Ranch supplies like horse feed, Hay, fencing, dog houses, bird baths, some food, clothing, jewelry and work apparel.
DeleteHe is a tall lad, and it's nice of him to help you with your pet.
ReplyDeleteThe photos a good to see, the sky is so amazing and the last photo is also good too.
Thank you.
DeleteHow sweet of your grandson to help with Falcor.
ReplyDeleteThank you, He's a good kid.
DeleteMary, your grandson is such a blessing.
ReplyDeleteSo thoughtful to help with Falcor, and wow, he’s growing tall!
I love how you caught the clouds in all their different moods.
He's getting so big so fast.
DeleteYou have a super grandson. That's a nice photo, and what a good kid to do that. And all those clouds are actually quite pretty.
ReplyDeleteThank you, he's a good kid.
DeleteYour grandson is looking pretty grown up! And Falcor is clearly enjoying himself.
ReplyDeleteHard to believe he's 13 already.
DeleteHe is tall indeed! And a good boy 🙂.
ReplyDeleteI love the dramatic clouds (and popcorn clouds! what a fun name), but the last pic, with a clear sky and a hint of stars, is my favourite.
That's my favorite too.
DeleteI'm sure Falcor appreciated the walk.
ReplyDeleteHe's always ready for a walk.
DeleteFalcor looks very happy with his out n' about.
ReplyDeleteHe's always happy to go for a walk.
DeleteSo nice you get to see your grandson weekly!
ReplyDeleteIt's nice to be able to see him.
DeleteLovely grandson
ReplyDeleteThank you.
DeleteBeautiful series of photos, dear Mary! How nice to see your grandson!
ReplyDeleteThank you.
DeleteThey do grow tall, don't they. My 13-year-old nephews grew something like five inches between July and December. It was wild to see how fast they shot up. (They went from about my height to taller than me.)
ReplyDeleteHe's growing so fast right now. But his father is 6'7" so I have a feeling he's going to be tall.
DeleteYour grandson is a handsome young man and good for him helping you out. The photos are very nice indeed. Hope you feel better soon.
ReplyDeleteThank you.
DeleteSo good that your grandson can walk Falcor for you ... lovely photograph of him and Falcor.
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed your sky/clouds pictures too.
All the best Jan
Thank you.
DeleteGreat photos Mary. Your grandson is taller than me too! Good for him walking Falcor :-D
ReplyDeletelol He was my height one week and the next he was taller than me.
DeleteLovely pictures. Here they were forecasting thunderstorms. We didn't have any.
ReplyDeleteWe got the clouds but no rain.
DeleteYeah, he is getting tall and grown up. But, your daughter is tall, too, right?
ReplyDeleteI love that sunset picture with the dark mountain backdrop and the starry sky.
No, my daughter is 5'2" but his father is 6'7" so he's taking after his dad.
DeleteThank you, I like that one too.
Your grandson looks like a find young gentleman
ReplyDeleteThank you
DeleteThat's so nice that your grandson helps with Falcor while you're not feeling well. Hope you back improves, Mary.
ReplyDeleteThank you.
DeleteLove the cloud photos and your tall grandson! Take care. x
ReplyDeleteThank you.
DeleteThe clouds have been tempting us with rain, too, but we finally received some yesterday and this morning but are still in a drought.
ReplyDeleteI wish we would get some rain, even a little would be nice.
DeleteThat's nice that your grandson can help with Falcor while you recover. I had to have my daughter drive 2 hours to help with potty breaks when I was sick last month. I wish I had someone closer to help when things like that pop up. Hope your back is better soon!
ReplyDeleteVery dark clouds there at first
ReplyDeleteYour grandson looks like a sweetheart. It's wonderful he can spend weekends with you and help you out. 🤗
