You will need:
5 eggs
1 TBSP Soy Sauce
2 TBSP Vegetable Oil
Salt and Pepper to taste
2 Green Onions
2 TBSP Diced Yellow Onion
1/2 Diced Green Bell Pepper
3 Diced White Mushrooms
1/4 tsp. McCormick Chipotle and Roasted Garlic seasoning
What To Do:
Whisk eggs in a bowl.
Add all ingredients and mix through.
Heat 1/2 tbsp vegetable oil in a non stick skillet over medium heat.
Pour in 1/2 cup of batter. Jiggle pan a little to form a round(ish) shape.
Cook until the underside is light golden (about 1 1/2 minutes) then flip and cook the other side for 1 minute. Repeat with remaining egg to make 4 omelettes.
Slide omelette onto plate.
You can mix in some diced meat like sautéed shrimp, pork or whatever you like. You can use other vegetables as well. I made this with mushrooms and spinach and it was so good.
Would you try this?
That does sound good - and yes, I would try it.
ReplyDeleteIt is a good little side dish.
DeleteJust like an omelette. Except without a ton of fatty cheese.
ReplyDeleteYes, and you can pretty much add anything to it.
DeleteIt’s too many eggs for me, but I like the idea.
ReplyDeleteI gave each of us 1 omelette. So really this was a little side dish for 3 people. So not that many eggs each.
DeleteOhhh! Now I get it!
Deletelol Yeah, all 4 would have been too much for one person.
DeleteSounds nice
ReplyDeleteit was good.
DeleteLooks good
ReplyDeleteThank you.
DeleteI would definitely try this, though I've never been good at flipping omelets. ;D
ReplyDeleteYou only use 1/2 a cup and a small pan so they stay small and compact. Let it cook until browned on the first side, a bit more than an omelette and they were easy to flip.
DeleteThanks for the tip! I probably try to turn them too soon.
DeleteI love all things eggs, and this looks yummy
ReplyDeleteOh good, I hope you get a chance to try it.
DeleteThat sounds wonderful to me too!
ReplyDeleteIt was pretty good.
DeleteI really don't like egg foo young. It was my mom's favorite.
ReplyDeleteMy daughter doesn't like it either.
DeleteI adore omlettes especially adding in fresh veggies like that.
ReplyDeleteThese came out so good.
DeleteYes, I'd try it! 🍳
ReplyDeleteI hope you do.
DeleteI probably wouldn't eat 5 eggs because it would mess with my tummy, but this does look so tasty!
ReplyDeleteThis was enough to feed 3 people. I omelette each as a side dish.
DeleteI'd definitely give it a try :)
ReplyDeleteAll the best Jan
Oh good.
DeleteI love egg dishes. Lots of protein and tasty. This sounds good!
ReplyDeleteI do too.
DeleteI think the only time I've ever had egg and soy sauce combined is in fried rice, but this sounds delicious, minus the mushrooms!
ReplyDeleteYou can add anything you want to them.
DeleteI would definitely give it a try!
ReplyDeleteI hope you do.
