This Is What Happens When It Rains...
So after just 5 minutes of heavy rain my courtyard started to flood. The sidewalk was completely wet and the water was coming off the roof like crazy. It would have been evenly distributed along the entire roof and down the gutter if the gutters were ever, ever cleaned around here, which they aren't. Apartment living...it's wonderful. *insert sarcastic smile here*

weather is never spread out well either. :)
ReplyDeleteNo, it sure isn't.
DeleteGood grief on the gutter situation!
ReplyDeleteYep, they have a lot of problems here.
DeleteBlah to that, the life of crummy apartments ugg.
ReplyDeleteYeah, but at least if something needs to be done inside hubby can fix it.
DeleteYikes!
ReplyDeleteYeah it was a mess.
DeleteGoodness! We have to do the gutters once a month in the spring and fall around here or the flooding will be on the inside. I think I was so spoiled by our apartment manager where we used to live. Everything was kept up so nice. Hope the rains don't get heavy for you guys with such bad gutters.
ReplyDeleteWell, they can't put off gutter cleaning forever! We have this stuff you put in the gutters that stop the leaves etc getting in. Makes life easier.
ReplyDeleteI had new gutters put on a few months ago when they put on the new roof, now every time it rains it's like a waterfall coming down over the front step. No matter what they do, they can't seem to get the gutter to sit flush against the ledge. I'm hoping since we've actually had a break in the rain, they can figure out how to fix the problem.

Wow that looks nasty, what a rain. That's weird they don't clean the gutters though. We have pretty good service in our appartment complex, but we do pay more for it.
ReplyDeleteBummer! It's on the brink of flooding here in GA too if this rain doesn't let up soon. We've been on flood watch all weekend and I am so done with it!
