Apartment Life #224

This is a new weekly blog post that I'm calling Apartment Hell  Life. I've mentioned a few times some of the crazy things that go on in and around my apartment complex in the past 21 years that we've lived here and people keep telling me I should write a book. But instead of a book, I've decided to share the crazy things that have happened in and around my apartment complex in the last 21 years here in a weekly blog post.

This week there was a fight across the street early in the morning when I was taking the dog out. The police showed up while I was outside and one of the officers had to pull the guy to the side because he kept yelling at the female while the officers were standing there. They all ended up walking behind the building where I couldn't see what was happening but I could sure hear them. Especially the guy, he was loud and yelling about how she did him wrong. I don't know what she did but he sure was mad about it.  I'm not sure if anyone went to jail since I came back inside and didn't see them leave.

So that's it for this week's Apartment Hell  Life! Be sure to come back next week for more.

  1. We used to get non stop issues where we live with high rise flats right next to us...TV's being thrown over balconies, cars getting wrecked on our street, fires, fights etc so I can understand how hard it is to put up with other people being anti-social. My area is much quieter other than the odd junkie trying to find things to steal in the garden at night, ever since those flats were knocked down. I wish someone would sort that area of yours to give you guys some peace.

  3. No doubt what she did "wrong" was to threaten his precious masculinity in some way.

  4. A calm week for you then if the worst was a screaming match.

  8. Always drama! :(

We had some this week actually. There's a pinch point road in our village and two cars decided to rush it simultaneously. They almost collided, stopped, got out and then had a punch up at the side of the road. Police came and arrested them both... It caused massive tail backs through our village for about an hour but that's as exciting as things ever get around here!

  11. Your neighborhood is crazy.
Sad thing is, most neighborhoods are equally crazy right now.

  12. The sad thing is that neither education nor police can change things. Even moving is not always a solution, as negative people are everywhere.

  13. Have you ever had a week there where the police didn't have to show up?

  15. Obviously he could have handled it a much different way. Shouting doesn't help at all.

  20. Golly, it's always a circus around your neighborhood.

  21. Ah, relationship fights. I bet cops hate those since they're so unpredictable and dangerous...

  24. I have to admit my neighborhood is pretty quite. We don't get much happening here. I'm happy for that.

  25. What would you do if for one week nothing happened? LOL. Maybe you'd think you slipped into a parallel universe!

    1. That's happened before. Some weeks are quiet. Not often though.

  26. Nothing like a bit of drama while out with the dog. The weather has been cool enough the last couple days to have the windows up during the day. It's usually fairly quiet in our neighborhood, but we did hear a couple arguing yesterday. A lot of name calling and cursing. No police though. I hope you have a good weekend!
