Great news about your health improvement. Doesn't help your mental health when you go through an aggravation like this over the $200 that you were owed. Sorry that happened. I don't know what kind of tree that is that it certainly is not anything that ought to be growing in anybody's neighborhood.
ReplyDeleteThat tree is dangerous! Thank you, I was very happy with my new numbers.
DeleteThe person who planted the thorn tree may have been hoping it would cull the local druggie population.
ReplyDeleteI keep hearing about how these programs that claim to reward you for doing something or other often find some way to weasel out of paying. There are sites like Yelp where you can review apartment buildings; if you left a review describing your experience, at least other people would know the management is either incompetent or untrustworthy. They'd probably know who wrote it, though, so you'd need to judge whether you would feel comfortable with that.
Congratulations on the health improvements. I suspect it's mostly due to the weight loss -- but that's a difficult thing to achieve.
Seeing how we have a 30 day no cause where management can evict you without cause, I don't want to leave a review of this place where they can see it.
DeleteI'm sure some of it is because of the weight loss.
That's great news on your numbers! Vitamin D - need just a bit more sun.
ReplyDeleteYou have got to get out of those apartments. Call the newspaper or local television channel about the money. They can investigate.
Sun exposure won't help because some of the medications I'm on limit my vitamin D absorption. If I could find an apartment that was as cheap as this one I would move. But I'm on a limited income and can't find something else I can afford. I can't do anything against the apartment complex because they could evict me.
DeleteGood news on the health front if not the rental front.
ReplyDeleteThank you. At least some good news this week.
DeleteIt's such a shame and so annoying that you didn't get what you were promised. It makes you want to spit.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on your good health, though. You have done so well.
Thank you. At least there was some good news this week.
DeleteThat is a significant improvement on your health, Mary! Way to go! Do you feel better overall?
ReplyDeleteI’d be so mad about the referral! I swear it’s like that with anything now. And the kicker is everything is computerized, so there should be no excuses.
Yeah I feel a little better. You would think since I have the paper as proof, they wouldn't deny me.
DeleteGood news on your diabetes!
ReplyDeleteThank you.
DeleteThat sucks about the referral, idiots! That's great news about your A1C, etc., hooray for you!
ReplyDeleteThank you.
DeleteI don't know which place sucks more ... your place or mine, but to offer money for referrals then not pay is false advertising. Your new numbers are amazing. Wish I could get my cholesterol down.
ReplyDeleteI cut all oil, butter and fatty meat from my diet for a year. I think that helped.
DeleteI’m glad to hear your health is a lot better. And that sucks about your housing complex.I’ve helped quite a few people get into low income housing and anytime my housing frowns on me I think of the hood I did in getting people lower rents. It helps.
ReplyDeleteI should apply for low income housing but the wait list is so long.
DeleteWell done Mary on your excellent health news ... you must be so pleased.
ReplyDeleteHope the week ahead will be a good one for you :)
All the best Jan
I was very surprised and pleased.
DeleteCongratulations on your great health numbers. Boo to the jerks in the apartment office.
ReplyDeleteI take an over the counter Vitamin D pill every other day.
This apartment complex is a joke. My doctor ordered a prescription strength Vit D but my insurance won't pay for it so I'm taking an over the counter one too.
DeleteCongrats on the Numbers, you're doing so well! I'm trying. Sucks about the Referral Credit not being applied and them Stiffing you, they know you have proof and are likely lying that they don't have records, of coarse they do.
ReplyDeleteFirst off, congratulations about your excellent health news! The referral thing sucks and stings. I wouldn't put it past them to have done this on purpose. That tree looks dangerous and not at all appropriate for a residential area...good lord.
