My Review
Simon and Zoe meet when Simon's old friend asks him to look after her for a while since some very bad people (Crime Lord) are after her for stealing from them. Zoe is really good with computers and tech so this little town of Bear Creek with no wifi isn't what she really wants to deal with. But she's safe for now so she will deal with it.
Simon is a bear shifter and he expects Zoe to get up early and help out with the lodge when guests arrive. Zoe is not an early riser though, so it causes some problems between them. The danger really sparks up though when Zoe goes for a walk in the wilderness and come smack dab in the middle of a mama bear and her cubs. Simon almost loses his mind that she was in such danger and she had no idea what to do in such a situation. Zoe doesn't know it but Simon knows right away that she's his mate.
When Zoe surprisingly finds out that bear shifters exist, she tries to flee only to get into a car accident and almost dies. Simon can't lose her and does the only thing he can think of to save her, he gives her his blood and changes her into a bear shifter. Things get really interesting after that.
I give this book 4 out of 5 stars.
