Apartment Life #543

This is a weekly blog post that I'm calling Apartment Hell  Life. I've mentioned a few times some of the crazy things that have gone on in and around my apartment complex and in my neighborhood in the past 27 years that I've lived here and people keep telling me I should write a book. But instead of a book, I've decided to share the crazy things that have happened in and around my apartment complex in the last 27 years here in a weekly blog post.

On Monday the police and ambulance were just down the street. They had one guy in handcuffs, and another person went to the ER in the ambulance. A lot of cops drove by but only one parked there. No idea what happened.

On Monday I was outside with Falcor and watched a guy walking down the street. He spotted a knapsack hidden in the bushes and pulled it out. He started pulling clothes out and then I watched as he pulled an AR-15 rifle out of it.  He turned it over and was looking closely at it and then walked over to someone's apartment. I didn't hear any gunshots this week so that's good. If I had a better phone camera I could have gotten a picture of him holding it but he was too far away for my phone camera to come out clear. One of these days I'm going to get a wearable body camera and just have the thing running every time I go outside.

Tuesday night we heard the police helicopter flying really low above us. Then they started circling the liquor store next door.

My daughter went over there to get more pictures. 😂🤣 The bright lights are the cop cars.

There were more police cars in the parking lot right in front of the liquor store too. The police had one guy and was talking to him but no one seemed to know what was going on.

Those bright lights are from the ambulance that I called for my daughter on Thursday night. She's fine now but that night she started having really bad chest pain and with her congestive heart failure we thought it best to go get checked out. Turns out it was a really bad muscle cramp and nothing more serious.

Thursday night the same time the ambulance was here for my daughter, I watched one of the homeless guys taking huge rocks and throwing them up at this second story bedroom window that faces my courtyard. He saw me watching him and he ran off. The woman that lives here hangs out with all the homeless people so I'm guessing they had an argument or something.

I will leave you with these 2 pictures of Falcor all ready for Halloween.

Na na na na Batdog! Just in time for Halloween.

The high this week was 85F/29C
The low this week was 53F/11C

So that's it for this week's Apartment Hell  Life! Be sure to come back next week for more.
