My Review
I've never had a vegetable slicer of any kind so I was really interested in what the vegetables would look like after going through a product like this one. I make lettuce wraps all the time and it's such a pain to try and cut carrots that are really small julienne type slices for the wraps. So I put a carrot through this spiral slicer and the carrots slices were just the right size I needed. I just had to cut them to fit the lettuce wraps which was so much easier than trying to slice the entire carrot. It's really easy to use too. Just cut off the ends and put one end into the slicer, apply a little pressure and turn. It's that easy and it cuts really fast which was nice. I used this with a couple of zucchini and then sauteed it in butter and it was done really fast because the slices were so thin and it came out fantastic.

If you'd like to buy one for yourself, you can find it here.

Disclaimer: I got this at a discount in exchange for my honest review.

  1. Never had one of these either, but it sure looks like it would be fun to change the look of veggies into something that would make me look like an awesome chef! (lol) Hugs and Super Saturday!

  4. I never had a vegetable slicer, sounds like it spares a lot of time when you want tiny slices! I usually just buy jullienne carrots when I need them instead of trying to slice them myself.

    1. The already cut carrots and other vegies are more expensive at my store than the whole ones so this saves me money too.

  5. Ooo very handy. Since I'm a vegetarian I'm always making salads and wraps and such and man it is a pain to slice up some of them in nice thin bits.
