Freebie Friday!

Welcome to another edition of Freebie Friday, where I tell you what free samples and full sized products I received in the mail and how you can get them too. Someone asked me why I do a "Freebie Friday" each week, so I'll tell you.

A while back I listed all the free samples and wins that I had received that previous year and so many people didn't believe that I could have gotten so many free things. So I decided to prove it by taking a picture every week and sharing the sites that I found the links to the freebies at. So now you too can get great free samples coming to your mailbox each week.

You can find links to great samples at Hey It's Free and Freebie Shark.

This week I received:

A $100 Amazon gift card from MyPoints.

MyPoints is a website anyone can sign up to use. You earn points by doing things like using their link to shop online, surveys, daily poll and playing games. You can then cash in your points for great gift cards. It took 18,800 points for me to get this gift card but they have lower priced gift cards for just 480 points. I could have cashed in a while back for a smaller gift card but I wanted to save for a bigger one.

This is the notice I got on the site right after I cashed in my points and it only took 5 days for them to email me the gift card.

Have you used MyPoints?

  2. Wow! That's fantastic and a great freebie! Looks like you really worked hard with My Points. I scored a $50 check in the mail from a survey site called Mindspot when I did a group survey that wanted to know what we thought about visiting Florida this past week. Congratulations again! Hugs...RO

  12. To get that many points, I know you worked to get the gift card so way to go, Mary. I haven't tried this particular company, but I used to be part of one that gave out great rewards choices for various things. I'll check this one out.

  20. $100, wow! I really need to start doing surveys again. I used to be able to pay for a lot of our Christmas gifts with what I made from taking surveys.
