Favorite Video of the Week
Kids try food from France. I couldn't stop laughing at their reactions. I don't think I've ever had any of this food.

I wonder what they eat at home? I have eaten many of those things. Loathe pate. Any sort of pate.
ReplyDeleteI don't know but the video was funny.
DeleteI never saw hot chocolat in cereals. We don't do that in France. It is definitely weird... They are so wrong. We take cereals with cold milk.
ReplyDeleteNever tried beef tartare. It's not that popular. But we have that yes.
Frog legs, I think I tried once but you can't find that easily. Nobody really eat a lot of that.
Mussels are good but it's cooked. It doesn't seem the case here. We don't eat them not cooked.
Paté is good you have them with many things. I love that! But it's not only liver, it can be everything. Like when you eat meat.
For cheese, it depends on the cheese, some are strong, some not.
And kids son't drink alcohol. Like really not!!!
Lol, your comment sums up what I'm like when people talk about Scottish foods!
Delete"No, I've NEVER had a deep fried chocolate bar... That's for the tourists." 🙄
But even as a tourist in France, I never saw any of these. Well, mussels and pate sure but they're not an exclusively french thing. *shrugs*
YouTube is just the land of random crap, isn't it?
However, hot chocolate on cereal doesn't sound that weird when it's basically sweet chocolate milk. *shrugs* And I've heard of people putting hot milk on their cereals...
lol Thanks for clearing that up. I'm sure if they did a video of what Americans eat, it wouldn't be anything that we actually eat.
DeleteI've never seen cereal eaten with hot chocolate either, maybe with a mugful alongside the cereal, but not in the bowl? Why didn't the kids eat the fresh croissant instead? Far nicer than boring old cereal!!
ReplyDeleteThe kids reactions was funny though.
DeleteSome of that just looks nasty
ReplyDeleteI know. lol
DeleteThey really are the best food critics!
ReplyDeleteThese kids react videos are too funny.
DeleteI'm a really picky eater, so I would probably be making similar faces. :-)
ReplyDeleteMelanie @ Hot Listens & Books of My Heart
lol I'm not all that picky.
DeleteI wonder what they would take for Finland. But yes certainly those things we eat the least. Like lutefish, pickled herring, the dessert that looks like poop
ReplyDeletelol I'm sure there's a video out there somewhere.
DeleteI find it hard to believe any kid would like red wine, tasting it for the first time! I enjoyed the kids' reactions, too.
ReplyDeleteI don't think they were actually given wine. Their reactions are funny though.
DeleteJe vomirais.
ReplyDeleteSome of those kids looked like they were about to.
DeleteI love french food, but it took me about 33 years to truly appreciate it. This video is hilarious, I laughed until it hurt. haha the wine lol
ReplyDeleteThere were a couple of things there that I would eat or try.
DeleteWhat a hoot! They say the best lines and get the funniest faces. Yeah, I'd have to pass on frog legs and duck pate and the molding cheese. :)
ReplyDeleteI would try a few things but not pate or the cheese.
DeleteFunny! I can't even get my son to try most American foods lol
ReplyDeletelol Some kids are really picky.
DeleteAny reason for chocolate sounds good to me!(lol) Hugs...
ReplyDeleteI would try it.
DeleteThe kids are adorable. Kids are weird eaters so none of this surprises me.
ReplyDeleteKids are weird eaters.
DeleteSo interesting (and funny) to see their reactions.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing this Mary.
All the best Jan
I'm glad you enjoyed it.
