Favorite Picture of the Week
Last month we had a few days where it was super cloudy. So when I was outside, I snapped some pictures of the clouds. This storm cloud came right over us just a few minutes after I took the picture. We got a little rain from it.
Cloudy sunrise picture.
These clouds were over the mountains headed our way but we didn't get any rain from them.
This is my favorite kind of day. Light rain, dark clouds all over and no sunshine in sight. I love days like this.
The clouds that rolled in that week were big and interesting.

I'm with you about light rainy days. Your cloud pics are great. I love how they build over the mountains like that.
ReplyDeleteThere are mountains all around us since we pretty much live in a bowl. lol
DeleteSure clouded over indeed. Rain here and there isn't bad, too much though, nope.
ReplyDeleteIt was nice to get a little rain.
DeleteYour pics are awesome! Hugs...RO
ReplyDeleteThank you so much.
DeleteI love the light rainy overcast days too. Portland is known for that kind of weather.
ReplyDeleteMy dad lived in Bandon Oregon and he was always telling me it was overcast and rainy.
DeleteThat is a big cloud. Desert clouds are really cool.
ReplyDeleteSome of the clouds that came over were huge.
DeleteAmazing photos of the cool clouds!
ReplyDeleteThank you.
DeleteThat cloudy sunrise picture is really pretty. We get too many cloudy days here, so when we see the sun, we get really excited!
ReplyDeletelol We don't have nearly enough days like this.
DeleteClouds make for beautiful pictures. I like it when it's partial cloudy as a full cloudy sky turns the day into a kind of grey, depressive one.
ReplyDeleteI really love cloudy days. I don't find them depressing like most others do.
DeleteClouds can look both powerful and cute and fluffy at the same time. Great pics!
ReplyDeleteThank you, that's very true.
DeleteThe sky is beautiful
ReplyDeleteThank you. I thought so too that's why I kept taking pictures. lol
DeleteI'm trying to get used to literally being up in the clouds out here in the PNW lol When we drive or hike up in the mountains everything all of a sudden vanishes.

That would be awesome. Looking forward to seeing pictures.
DeleteIt’s funny I get the gray cloudy rainy days all the time here in Portland, and I get tired of them, but I remember when I lived in Phoenix, I longed for rainy days.
ReplyDeletePretty soon it'll be sunshine non stop here.
DeleteSome great looking clouds and sky photos. We see clouds everyday so when we get a blue sky, it's an event and people seem to perk up and smile more. :)
ReplyDeleteThank you. We get a lot of sun in the summer time.
DeleteThose are beautiful photos. The sky does some amazing things.
ReplyDeleteThank you. I appreciate that.
DeleteI love cloud watching. Thanks for sharing your pictures.
ReplyDeleteMe to. You're welcome.
DeleteI expect rain gets a different reaction in Vegas
ReplyDeleteYeah. People here can't drive in it.
DeleteI love light, rainy days too. They are so great to just settle in with a hot cuppa tea and a good novel.
ReplyDeleteMy thoughts exactly.
DeleteI haaate grey days, but then i live where I do and the winter is long and dark. If Id live there id prob love rain too
ReplyDeleteI've always loved rainy days. The sunny hot days have always depressed me.
DeleteThose clouds are beautiful, Mary.
ReplyDeleteThank you.
DeleteYour 'favourite day' picture looks like the UK most of the time! It does get dreary after a while!
ReplyDeleteI love the angles of light you've captured in the first picture
Thank you. I love those kinds of days.
DeleteYou would have loved Mid Feb to Mid March here. We had like 18 days of cloudy overcast and rain. I was starting to miss the sun which was a shock. lol
ReplyDeleteYeah, that would have been nice.
