We had a cloudy couple of days this week. These pictures are courtesy of my daughter since she was up before me and heard the thunder that I missed.
She said there was some lightning coming out of these clouds too.
It was early in the morning. I got up at 4AM, took the dog out, saw a few clouds but nothing like this and I went back to bed and missed the thunder and lightning.
Not one drop of rain where we live though. Other parts of Vegas got some rain but not us.
You can even see the rain coming down in some of these pictures.
It sure made for some good pictures though.
And then we started seeing blue skies after noon.

Great pictures. Those clouds look massive. Must have been a relief after the summer you've had. You'll get your share of the rain eventually.

ReplyDeleteI get up early with the dog but these clouds moved through after I had gone back to bed after being up ealier.
DeleteI like the colours in the first one a lot, and the third one makes one think that there's a ship sailing in the sky!

Here in the UK many areas have had too much and there has been flooding, fortunately my area hasn't been too bad.
