Here are some pictures I took this week. I was surprised that we had that many dark clouds this week. It's the time of year when things are usually really sunny. No rain but lots of cloud cover.

And then a nice sunset.
This was sunrise one morning. The entire week was nice.
This sunset had the clouds looking almost a blue purple.
And then this fiery sunset one night.
Same night taken a few minutes after the last one. The clouds sure lit up nice for a picture.
Those are certainly pretty solid clouds for a basically-desert area at the end of May. It's been the same up here, still mostly cool and occasionally rainy. Maybe the summer this year won't be too bad.

DeleteI certainly would have thought by your photos that you were expecting a serious storm. I love the orange color in the sky at sunset.
