Freebie Friday!
Welcome to another weekly Freebie Friday post, where I tell you what free samples and full sized products I received in the mail and how you can get them too. Someone asked me why I do a "Freebie Friday" each week, so I'll tell you.
A while back I listed all the free samples and wins that I had received that previous year and so many people didn't believe that I could have gotten so many free things. So I decided to prove it by taking a picture every week and sharing the sites that I found the links to the freebies at. So now you too can get great free samples coming to your mailbox each week.
You can find links to great samples at Hey It's Free and Freebie Shark.
This week I received:
A sample of La Roche Posay Vitamin C serum.
A sample of OGX shampoo and conditioner.
Both were fine. I didn't care for the scent of the shampoo and conditioner but it works fine. Vitamin C serum made my face feel soft but that's about it.
Did you receive any samples or freebies this week?
And because we had 3 days of rain this week and I took a few sky shots, I thought I would share those too. Cloudy days always make me happy.
I was standing across the street from my apartment complex.
This big cloud on Saturday produced a little bit of rain. I thought we would get a lot from it.
I decided to walk to Mariana's Market to do some shopping on Sunday. I was in my alley here and took this picture. That fenced in place is where Cal Ranch keeps their big items locked in the fenced in area.
You can see how close I live to the Cal Ranch right next door. Only the alley wall separates us.There were some big clouds this day.
Once I got out into the parking lot for Mariana's which is right next door to Cal Ranch I took a couple of pictures of the clouds over the mountains since it was raining over the mountains. We got a bit of rain a few minutes later. Mariana's is just across the parking lot. It's pretty convenient.
More sky pictures while I walked across the parking lot.
On my way home after shopping the clouds were covering the mountains and we started getting more rain. Mariana's is the big building on the right of the picture.
Monday afternoon. More clouds and rain. It was a lot cooler at least.
Monday morning it was raining over the mountains. And we got rain on and off that day and Tuesday.
I hope you enjoyed the clouds as much as I did.

No freebies here. Thanks (as always) for the skyscapes.
ReplyDeleteYou're welcome.
DeleteThree days of rain? That's a lot.
ReplyDeleteIt didn't rain a lot, mostly just a drizzle on and off for those days.
DeleteThe clouds promised more rain than they gave.
ReplyDeleteThey sure did. Mostly just drizzled for a few days but it was cooler.
DeleteThat’s nice that you got rain!
ReplyDeleteIt was nice and cool too.
DeleteNo freebies. Glad you're getting some rain.
ReplyDeleteIt was nice to have a few cooler days.
DeleteNice that your freebie worked well for skin and shampoo. Only gas points for me, lol. Love the sky photos. It must be nice to be in walking distance to stores. I drive 12 miles for Kroger and Walmart. That is all our small city supplies except for every fast food in the world.
ReplyDeleteBefore the stores opened up over here the closest store was 2 miles away. So it is really nice for it to be so close.
DeleteWe don't seem to be on a freebie list. Mind you, we are in a different country. Your skies are impressive, but I can pretty well assure you that we have received much more rain. It's been crazy.
ReplyDeleteWe only get 5 inches of rain a year so pretty much everywhere gets more rain than us.
DeleteEnjoy the rain and the clouds!! Nice photos, Mary.
ReplyDeleteThank you, I sure did.
DeleteVery cool cloud pics! I'm glad you got some rain.
ReplyDeleteIt was so nice for a few days
DeleteGreat sky photos ~ we had and have similar weather in MA ~
ReplyDeleteWishing you good health, laughter and love in your days,

I love days like this
DeleteCan't beat free.
ReplyDeleteNo you can't.
DeleteGlad you enjoyed your cloudy days
ReplyDeleteThank you.
DeleteI cashed in some points to get three items free at the store. Love how you find the free samples to try.
ReplyDeleteThe fluffy white clouds on Monday look great. LOL, we'd be in debt if we lived near you since my husband adores CAL Ranch stores. :)
Have a good weekend, Mary!
My daughter works there and even though she gets a discount she spends too much there. lol
DeleteKind of nice to be able to walk to the market. That is not a thing in these parts.
ReplyDeleteIt's so nice. I know we're lucky.
Delete"Vitamin C serum made my face feel soft but that's about it."
ReplyDeleteMaybe that was the whole point of it and nothing more LOL.
The clouds in pic 1 look like a snow blanket!
Oh I can totally see that now.
DeleteI actually used that shampoo and conditioner the other day! It's good stuff.
ReplyDeleteIt's ok, I just didn't care for the scent.
DeleteI really love your first sky picture, with the trees against the clouds! So dramatic!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much.
DeleteAmazing clouds!
ReplyDeleteI have a friend who swears by argan oil. She says it great from frizzy hair. I remain unconvinced.
Yeah, me too.
DeleteGood freebies! The clouds out there always look so amazing!
ReplyDeleteThank you.
DeleteOh, you had pretty clouds. We had cloud cover, too, but it was marine layer, and it blocked the sun for three days. Gloomy. I like your clouds.
ReplyDeleteThank you. Anything that blocks the sun this time of year is welcome. lol
DeleteI adore vitamin C on my face, it makes it radiant and shiny and eases dark spots, plus it covers you from UV.
ReplyDeleteI have heard that Vitamin C will amplify the effectiveness of a SPF sunblock.
DeleteLOL if you like clouds come live where I live. Our area of New York State is one of the cloudiest in the nation. Alana ramblinwitham.blogspot.com
