Favorite Song of the Week!
I like Apocalyptica and I like Adam Gontier, former lead singer from Three Days Grace. This match up with the two of them is so good.

How nice to have two favourites perform together so well.
ReplyDeleteIt was a nice way to mesh the two.
DeleteHi, Mary!
ReplyDeleteThis is just my style of music, dear friend! There are several things about the song and video that I especially like, the first being the standard transition from emo to screamo found in many works of the genre. The song begins with a slow burn intro featuring clean, melodic vocals. At the 50 second mark, the guys pull the trigger, the harsh vocals kick in and the band explodes in fury. I like the claustrophobic set where the band performs under a too low ceiling. The succubi add a lot to the video. It's a cool scene where the cellists run their bows across the backs of the women. The scenes at the end showing the band members and mystery women engaging in hedonistic gluttony and debauchery around the table reminds me of the scenes in the Kiss video "Lick It Up."
Thanks for posting this great song, dear friend Mary. I'll see you tamale in Mister Rogers' Neighborhood!
I agree with you on all of that. I really love the two of them together. They should make more music.
