Wow - that is dark. That cool is welcome isn't it, though some rain would be good.
ReplyDeleteHopefully we get a little rain soon.
DeleteIt looks quite threatening, so dark so early. I hope you get some rain soon, in manageable proportions.
ReplyDeleteI hope so too.
DeleteVery cloudy indeed
ReplyDeleteYes it was.
DeleteThat is gloomy.
ReplyDeleteIt is but I love that.
DeleteClouds are amazing, and it does look like rain.
ReplyDeleteToo bad we didn't get any.
DeleteThat is dark for 2 pm.
ReplyDeleteYes it was.
DeleteI do not think of your town as a stormy place.
ReplyDeleteBut in the Winter time we have monsoon season and get some rain and clouds.
DeleteVery moody sky!
ReplyDeleteI love these gloomy rainy days.
DeleteMoody for sure
ReplyDeleteJust my type of day
DeleteWow, those grey clouds look pretty ominous.
ReplyDeleteYou would think rain but not for my side of town.
DeleteYou definitely have some dramatic sky shots. Nothing like that at my house.
ReplyDeleteThank you. I love Winter for this reason.
DeleteMust be a relief. Clouds can certainly make things dark -- that happens a lot up here. But most people elsewhere in the country don't think of Las Vegas as cloudy.
ReplyDeleteI know but we get a lot of cloudy days this time of year.
DeleteThat's a dramatic sky cover with the dark clouds.
ReplyDeleteThank you, I thought so too.
DeleteAwesome sky shot ~ ominous ~ thanks,
ReplyDeleteWishing you good health, laughter and love in your days,
clm ~ A ShutterBug Explores,
aka (A Creative Harbor)
Thank you.
DeleteThat definitely looks like it's about to rain.
ReplyDeleteIt should have.
DeleteLovely
ReplyDeletewe have snow. I see there none there.
ReplyDeleteI think we've had snow 3 times in the last 25 years.
DeleteTeasing cloud to look like rain and not give it. :) I do love ominous dark cloud days.
ReplyDeleteI love days like this too.
DeleteCool photo! It sure did look stormy.
ReplyDeleteAt least we had the clouds.
Deletea very pretty photo, love the mood of the sky!
ReplyDeleteI love cloudy days like this.
DeletePerfect reading weather! Looks windy, too.
ReplyDeleteIt was windy.
DeleteThat picture. That's grim looking, all right. So different from our ready-to-snow skies (we are under a winter storm warming starting in less than an hour) plus, ha ha, no palm trees either. I loved it! P.S. there is a weekly blog hop run by "Yogi" called SkywatchFriday and I think they would love that picture, if you are interested. You can check my Friday blog posts for the link if you are, and there are simple rules on Yogi's website Alana ramblinwitham.blogspot.com.
ReplyDeleteThanks, I'll look into it.
DeleteA moody look ... I like it!
ReplyDeleteAll the best Jan
Thank you.
DeleteWe have had both rain and snow and zero temps last two days, very weird weather, also high winds to top it all.
