Review: Ramini Brands Tea Cup Silicone Cup Cake Molds

After getting my silicone cup cake molds I made coffee cake cupcakes. I think these tea cup silicone molds are really cute.

I filled the silicone molds with the coffee cake batter and topped them with a cinnamon crumb topping and placed them on a baking sheet to bake.

They came out so good! They kept their shape, didn't burn, didn't tip over and worked really well. This is the first time I've tried any sort of silicone baking products so I wasn't sure what to expect.

My first attempt at getting the cupcake out of the silicone mold didn't go well and I broke my cupcake in half but I know it's only because this is a new to me product and it took me a minute to get the hang of getting the cupcake out but my second attempt went really well.

I would probably just serve the cupcakes in the silicone molds if I had company over since they come with the little saucers to serve them with but I wanted to see how easy it was to get them out and after just two tries, I can honestly say that I was able to get it out in one piece fairly easily.

The only thing I want to know is why only 4 of them in the set? I would love to see these silicone molds come in sets of 8 or 12. But I definitely love the 4 that I have.

** Disclaimer, I was given this product for free or at a discounted price in exchange for my honest review.

  1. Those cupcakes look delicious, but I think people have got used to having them served in paper cups which they can flatten out and lick all the crumbs off. That's what I'm used to anyway!

  2. That makes it a lot easier as the mold is all ready to go

  3. These look really cute. I've used larger silicon containers and gone back to my tins because they bend and twist when you pick them up. The smaller cups would work well and they look good.

  5. Oh those are cute. I tried a silicone mold years and years ago and I don't remember it going well but I've wanted to try again now that I'm better at baking. First attempt was right out of home so I was a newbie in the kitchen. lol
