Review: Liberty Imports Cartoon R/C Police Car Radio Control Toy for Toddlers

Product Description
Cartoon R/C Police Car

This r/c police car is bright, colorful and perfect for young children learning to play with remote control toys for the first time. It is lightning fast and can drive forward and reverse/left. Press a button and the police sirens will turn on and the headlights will blink. Comes with a cute removeable policeman figure that kids can place in the car or take out to play with. Cute and stylish, this remote control police car is a great introduction to remote control toys for young children and toddlers.

Police car measures 4" long, 3" wide, and 4" tall. Police car requires 3 AA batteries, and remote requires 2 AA batteries (NOT included). Ages 18 months and up.

My Review

I bought this for my 2 year old grandson as a Christmas gift. That's right, I start my Christmas shopping in January when all the sales start. I already have a whole closet full of goodies for him and my other family members. What little kid doesn't like remote controlled cars, right? Because there are just two buttons that will make it easy for him to drive it around. But it does seem durable and if you know 2 year old boys, that's something you really need in a toy. This makes a great gift for the toddlers in your life. You do need 5 AA batteries for this to work *not included* But that's about average for toys that need batteries these days.

I took it out of the package and tried it out. The siren is pretty loud so I'm kinda glad my daughter will be taking this home. Kids toys today make a lot of noise. I think come Christmas when he's almost 3 years old, this will be easy for him to figure out and play with.

If you'd like to buy one of these, you can do so here.

  2. I'm getting earlier and earlier with Christmas shopping each year. With so many people to buy for it really helps to spread the cost.

This looks like a great little toy. I agree with you about things being noisy. My cousin has never entirely forgiven me for buying her nine-month old son an octopus toy where each leg played a different tune or made some sound. He used to wake her up at 5am playing with it, hehe.

  4. I remember having a RC car when I was about ten, Scared my dog to death. As soon as I turned it on, he ran under the bed

  5. Hahaha!

I don't understand it too, why these toys are VERY loud. I mean what is up with that?! When you're around kids like I am, and they play with these kinds of toys all day, by hour 2, I'm ready to either take out the battery or loose my shit!

  7. Good on you to get a jump on the sales. This does seem like a good choice for a young one. Ugh, they do eat the batteries, though. ;)
