My Review

We've had Falcor for less than 2 years and yet we've gone through 3 retractable leashes. The dog runs after blowing leaves, pieces of paper and pretty much anything that blows in the wind on windy days and unfortunately hubby doesn't always have a good grip on the leash so he drops it and then if you shake the leash you can hear small pieces on the inside that are rolling around in there and the leash will no longer work properly.

So I was happy to get another retractable leash to try out and this one I like because it's easy to stop the leash from coming out and easy to let it out with the push of a button. I like that even when you have it on stop so that the leash doesn't come out that it still has a little give to it so that a little will come out so that it doesn't break the retractable part of the leash. I also like that the hook on the leash is a metal one and not a plastic one that can break more easily.

Disclosure: I was given this product at a discount in exchange for an honest review.

  1. I tried those before, my dog is too strong for it.

    1. I think if I had a bigger dog, this would not work.

  2. They work pretty well. Especially with a mutt that wants to tear your arm off lol she likes to yank.

  5. We have a wild husky, I wonder if this leash will work for him. We tried a few and he broke it all! lol

  6. I'd like to see how that would work with a 110 pound dog. If that dog didn't want to be retracted, you'd need a come-along and not a retractable leash! Have a Happy New Year.

  7. This sounds like a great leash! I didn't realize leashes could break that easily. I hope this one keeps working for a long time to come!

  8. Yeah, the secret is not to let the lead out too much. Touch wood, our retractable lead is lasting well.
