Product Review: Beef Jerky *Hot* by Strollo's

Product Description
Grass-Fed Jerky? Don’t be fooled by the term! Grass Fed Beef Jerky is FILLED with Sugar and Salt in order to add flavor in the dehydration process. That means less beef to the bite and enough sugar and salt to outweigh the benefits of beef that’s grass-fed. Don’t fool yourself by thinking you’re getting a healthier snack when you’re really not. Compare them and see for yourself :)
Benefits:

• More beef in every bite

• Recipe developed for a healthy lifestyle that is high blood pressure and diabetic friendly

• Great choice for Paleo and Atkins diets

Features:

• Lowest sodium jerky on the market

• Zero sugar

• Zero carbs

• Zero preservatives

• 100% All Natural

My Review

This beef jerky has a great taste to it. It is very spicy though so have some milk standing by when you are eating this. I like spicy beef jerky so since this has a really great taste to it, I didn't mind the amount of hot it produced as I was chewing it. Now if you aren't a fan of hot or really spicy foods, you might not like this. I want to try some of the other beef jerky from this company that isn't so hot so I can really enjoy the flavor without burning my mouth off. The only thing I would change about this is the packaging. The company might want to think about using resealable bags to store and sell their beef jerky in, it would make it a lot easier to store since I can only eat a small piece at a time. If you'd like to purchase this, you can find it here

Disclosure: I was given this product at a deep discount in exchange for an honest review.

  2. Would you believe I've never tried it? Well, maybe had a Slim Jim as a kid, but is there any beef in those?

  4. I like jerky, but prefer homemade and without all the additives (good to have hunter friends)

  5. I like spicy jerky, but I'm picky about the heat level b/c I don't want it too hot. I like when the bags are resealable, too so I don't have to bother dragging out a ziploc.
