Free Amazon Prime Sample Boxes

A couple of weeks ago a friend on FB posted that Amazon had a few sample boxes available. So I went ahead and ordered 2 of them because they had things in them that I actually wanted and after they ship, Amazon sends you a credit for the full price. The only thing is the credit is towards the purchase of similar items. But that's ok with me.

The first box I bought was the Women's Makeup and Hair care Beauty Box. It was $9.99 + free shipping but they sent me a $9.99 credit that I could use to buy a full size product of one of the samples I was sent. In this box was...

L’Oreal Paris Mascara Carbon Black,  L’Oreal Paris Brow Stylist Sculptor 360 Brunette,  Mineral Fusion Mascara Graphite,  L’Oreal Paris Cushion Foundation Nude Beige,  Fekkai Shampoo and Conditioner,  Garnier Whole Blends Shampoo and Conditioner,  Black 15 in 1 Hair Treatment.

I also ordered the Cookie Sample box for $4.99 + free shipping and received a $4.99 credit towards the purchase of more cookies.

I received the 7 packs of cookies shown and for $4.99, it was a pretty good deal, especially since they give you back the money in credit that you can use towards another cookie purchase.

This is a pretty good deal if you plan on buying something in the one of these categories in the future and would like to try out a sample box in the meantime. The first time I looked there were 6 different sample boxes available but today when I looked there were only 2 boxes available. The boxes go really fast and sometimes they are restocked and sometimes they aren't. But you can find all the boxes that are available by searching "Sample Boxes" on Amazon. And yes in order to get the free shipping, you have to have Amazon Prime.

When I sent sent the money back that I had spent on those two boxes, I bought this. A tub of cookies and a shampoo and conditioner. Now Amazon made sure that almost everything I was able to buy with the credit was in the Prime Pantry so if I hadn't already had a Prime Pantry shipping credit of $5.99 on my account, it would have cost me more. Very sneaky of them to do that but I'm happy with my purchases and the boxes as a whole.

  3. I never knew that Amazon did this. I don't do sample boxes very often. I don't use a lot of stuff and I'm worried about throwing away a lot things. Those cookies look good though.

    1. Yeah if you don't use the stuff they're selling, not very good to buy the boxes.

  5. I can do the cookies and with a money back incentive, I'll be sure to get more! Can you pick products or is it random?

    1. No, the products they give you in the box are already picked for you.

  6. Didn't know this, thanks! I'll keep in mind that the credit is for future use and not reimbursement.

  7. Ah that is a little sneaky but glad you were able to get them free. Not too bad if you're paying attention to details.

    1. Always have to pay attention to the small print. That's where they get you.
