Favorite Picture of the Week

A couple of weeks ago I posted this picture of FB when I found a spider in my apartment. Falcor was looking at something on the floor. I picked this tiny spider up, saved him from the dog and took him outside. I don't even know what kind it is. *Edited: One of my FB friends said her husband said it was a jumping spider.* 1st spider I've found in my apartment so far this year. Expect more pictures this summer, we always get spiders and I always save them. lol

Ken saw me getting my camera as I was holding it and said, "You're not really gonna take a picture of it are you?" Heck yes I am. He's kinda cute. lol

  2. You brave gal! I think the only spiders I've ever picked up on my hand are DaddyLongLegs.
Oh yes, spider season is coming. I don't mind them, but I am not fond of cleaning out the cobwebs in the basement and on the porch.

    1. I've never seen a centipede. I've seen scorpions around here though.

    1. Well if a Bee or wasp would have gotten in, it would be squished right now.

  5. I'm not a fan of spiders. There was a pretty big one up by the ceiling in the bedroom the other night. It was too far out of reach for Mr Click to liberate it, so unfortunately he had to use the vacuum cleaner.

I do feel back about killing them, but I'm terribly arachnophobic!

    1. I don't mind spiders. It's the Bee's, wasps and hornets that I don't like.

  6. Spidey Savior at your sea. Have to be quick here as the cat eats them.

  7. Nope. I would have been screaming for someone to get it!

  8. I don't have issues with spiders. I usually just leave them be. DH wants to kill them all. I worry about picking them up because I don't know which ones are bitey. I've been bitten a few times and I didn't like it. My hand swelled up a lot and it hurt (swelling hurt, bite didn't hurt much at all, though I knew it happened).

    1. I've been bitten when I didn't know it was there but in all the times that I've picked them up and taken them outside, I've never been bitten by one. But of course now that I say that...lol
