Favorite Picture of the Week

It's been quite a bit warmer lately and this is the time of year that all the weeds start coming up through the rocks on the bike path we walk. Falcor is so interested in these weeds. He just stands there sniffing the tiny flowers or sticks his head down in the middle of them. The bigger ones he was trying to rub up against which was really funny. I'm sure the county will be by soon to weed whack these things like they do every year but until then, Falcor will be sniffing the heck out of them.

  1. My dog had quite the sniffer when she was alive. She'd apparently could smell everything from ten years back the way she'd just randomly inspect the sidewalk with nothing on it.

  8. Weeds... We have about two months of "dormant" season in FL, and I recently tore out half my landscaping because there was no way I could humanly handle that much weeding, unless I worked as a gardener full time. Ugh. Here's to simple, eh?

  9. We don't have a dog right now, but my folks do and their Rusty is the same way. He will sniff for several minutes at a time in the same bush. I always wonder what has his attention with the scents. Cute picture.

    1. Falcor is my first dog as an adult and I learn new things about dogs all the time. Like someone else said, other dogs probably pee'd on it and that's what they smell. lol
