Apartment Life #78

This is a new weekly blog post that I'm calling Apartment Hell  Life. I've mentioned a few times some of the crazy things that go on in and around my apartment complex in the past 20 years that we've lived here and people keep telling me I should write a book. But instead of a book, I've decided to share the crazy things that have happened in and around my apartment complex in the last 20 years here in a weekly blog post.

Yesterday I heard a lot of yelling coming from the street side of my apartment complex. I opened my bedroom curtains and this cop car was there. The two police officers had a guy who was yelling at them in handcuffs and they were trying to get him into the backseat. I ran to get my camera but by the time I got back to the bedroom he was already in the cop car and they were getting ready to pull away. I have no idea who he was or what happened. Just more drama around here.

This past week I spotted one of the crack ho's who always had the police at her door and who was evicted this month, was back but is staying with my next door neighbor *one of her john's* and I know he was paying her for sex because she would throw that in her boyfriends face every time they fought outside. I heard it a lot. I really hope she isn't around here for too long because when the manager found out she just shrugged like she didn't care.

So that's it for this week's Apartment Hell  Life! Be sure to come back next week for more.

  1. I hope she isn't round long either. I am pretty certain that the ongoing drama you live with would do my head in.

  2. In my language, hebrew, we have a saying which roughly translated means "multi-floors is multi-trouble".
Life in an apartment building is definitely not for the soft of heart.

  3. Nothing like watching 'Live PD' is there? Where's Sticks Larkin when you need him?

  5. Sounds like the cops were in a hurry to get that guy out of there. Good riddance.

  6. I'd have thought if the manager had gone to the trouble of evicting someone, they'd be more keen to make sure that person remained gone. Weird attitude

    1. They used to 86 them from the building and have the police give them a no tresspassing warning when they are evicted but they don't do that anymore.

  11. Hopefully the ex-neighbor doesn't stay long. You always have a lot of excitement going on near your pad! Maybe you should keep a camera by the window in case of an emergency. :)

    Have a good week!

  12. The manager should have a legal document barring the person from the grounds.

    1. The managers used to trespass them from the complex but this manager doesn't care enough to do that.

  13. Once again I'm grateful that we don't live in apartments anymore. If one could pick their own neighbors it might not be so bad... but I'm pretty sure no one ever consults you before renting to new people. :)
