Apartment Life #80

This is a new weekly blog post that I'm calling Apartment Hell  Life. I've mentioned a few times some of the crazy things that go on in and around my apartment complex in the past 20 years that we've lived here and people keep telling me I should write a book. But instead of a book, I've decided to share the crazy things that have happened in and around my apartment complex in the last 20 years here in a weekly blog post.

Last night my neighbors right next door to me were arguing all night and it sounded like they were throwing things outside in the courtyard. So this morning I saw this. It's a table with plants on it. a baby stroller, tv and bbq with briquettes all over the ground.

It's still there today, they haven't cleaned it up yet. But it's the weekend and they know there's no manager on site until Monday so maybe they will by tomorrow.

But that was it for the craziness for this week. Other than this, it was quiet.

So that's it for this week's Apartment Hell  Life! Be sure to come back next week for more.

  1. I am glad it was 'relatively' quiet. I can't think the TV would be improved by being thrown outside.

  2. The house next to us is still up for sale and I dread if we get idiots moving in...

  6. Yeah, people are always leaving furniture by the dumpster for dumpster divers where I live. Sometimes I'll put something out there for the freecycle people, but I try not to put things that are too big.

  10. Sometimes it's better to know who you're problematic neighbors are. There are "quiet waters" that can do a lot of harm such as stealing electricity, water etc.. Until you discover the theft they've already moved to another place.

    1. Most of my neighbors are problems. 2 new people moved in and they seem to be quiet for the most part.

  11. Wow. They must have really gotten into a huge fight. Well, better the ruined stuff then punching each other I guess...

    1. That's true. They must still be sleeping after fighting all night because it's still out there. lol

  12. OMG is everyone around you crazy????

I hate not being able to control who my neighbors are. The house across the street was vacant for a long time after a foreclosure and months of vandalism. A scumbag magnet. I was grateful that quiet people bought it and moved in.

    1. Is that a trick question? LOL I'm gonna say yes, most of the people in my courtyard are nuts. But we have two new people so I guess we'll see. Glad to hear quiet people moved in near you.

  13. What a bizarre mix of things to throw out!
I hope they do clear up after themselves and aren't expecting someone else to do it for them?

    1. It was. I really don't understand it at all. Maybe they just started pushing each others things out? Who knows. Drugs will really mess with your brain it seems. I have a feeling the manager will tell them to pick it up if it's still there tomorrow.
