Review: Healright Insulin Resistance Bars
This is the second time that I've received a box of these Healright Insulin Resistance Bars. I had originally signed up for a free sample and they sent me 4 bars which was a nice free sample and I recently received 4 more bars. They have different flavor like lemon/blueberry, banana/peanut butter and others.
I have type 2 diabetes so I'm willing to try things like this but like with most 'nutritious' things, this does not taste great. It's not awful just not something that I would pay for. It's edible but it's not great. But if you have type 2 diabetes and want to try a bar that won't raise your blood sugar real high then I can say that these didn't make my blood sugar skyrocket after eating one.
Have you ever tried these?

I am glad that they don't make your blood sugar rise - but more attention obviously needs to be paid to taste.
ReplyDeleteOh definitely.
DeleteSorry they don't taste good.
ReplyDeleteThanks. They do need to taste better.
DeleteI've never tried them. Too bad they don't taste better.
ReplyDeleteI wish they did because it's a good idea.
DeleteWell, at least they weren't overpriced!
ReplyDeleteYeah, that was good.
DeleteYeah, taste is a big deal to me, too, even if it's good for me. :)
ReplyDeleteIt has to taste good.
DeleteI didn't know about these
ReplyDeleteI didn't either.
DeleteBut sucks them not being great
ReplyDeleteYeah it did.
DeleteEdible but not great doesn't sound great lol
ReplyDeleteNo, its not.
DeleteIt would be great if these tasted better.
ReplyDeleteI wish they did.
DeleteToo bad they don't taste better. 😛
ReplyDeleteI know. I'm sure they could make it taste good.
DeleteMy mum has T2 Diabetes too and she struggles with things to snack on that taste good but dont mess with her blood sugars too. You'd think companies would be really pushing on this given the rising numbers of those with the condition. :/
