My Review
Eva is bold, bubbly and sparkly while Syen is quiet and grumpy. But Syen is a dragon shifter and not used to human females all that much, so when he meets her and wants to get to know her better he's not exactly sure how to do that. Especially since he's been told all his life that his scale color and eye color are disgusting. I hated the other dragon shifters that did that to him and made him believe he was less than because of his coloring.
Eva thinks he's hot and once she see's his coloring, she likes all of him. He's not used to be accepted so he doesn't know whether to believe her right away but she's being completely honest with him. These two were wanting to take things slowly and get to know each other even though he knows that she's his mate and feels the bond because of that. But then danger comes at the both of them and Eva has to make a choice. It was a hard choice at first but when she sees what's at stake, she pulls her big girl pants up and stakes her claim and makes her choice known to his people in a big way. I love her for what she said about him and how her love made him feel accepted for once in his life.
This was such a feel good story and Eva's bubbly personality was just what Syen needed to bring him out of his shell. I'll definitely be reading more of this series in the future.
I give this book 5 stars.
