Apartment Life #348
This is a weekly blog post that I'm calling Apartment Hell Life. I've mentioned a few times some of the crazy things that have gone on in and around my apartment complex and in my neighborhood in the past 25 years that I've lived here and people keep telling me I should write a book. But instead of a book, I've decided to share the crazy things that have happened in and around my apartment complex in the last 26 years here in a weekly blog post.
---
The apartment manager replied to my complaint email and said she would give the new neighbor a noise warning. She's been quiet since then.
That's it. It's been quiet around here all week. Shocking, I know. lol
The high this week was 67F/19C
The low this week was 40F/4C
So that's it for this week's Apartment Hell Life! Be sure to come back next week for more.

So your manager finally did something effective. Amazing.
ReplyDeleteGlad you've had a quiet week. Hopefully your obnoxious neighbors have all been sacrificed by local pagans in their winter solstice rituals or something
lmao
DeleteQuiet....crazy. But good
ReplyDeleteIt was good.
DeleteVery shocking! Have a wonderful Christmas with your daughter and grandson!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much.
DeleteThe quiet is a Christmas Miracle.
ReplyDeleteRight? I was shocked.
DeleteEnjoy the peace and quiet while it lasts!
ReplyDeleteI will try.
DeleteI hope the quiet is permanent.
ReplyDeleteI can hope but I doubt it.
DeleteUnfortunate
ReplyDeleteIt's good news.
DeleteI really, really hope the quiet lasts. Next door and in the area.
ReplyDeleteI hope so too.
DeleteWe are hitting below zero tonight and possible snow tomorrow ahead of Christmas.
ReplyDeleteOh wow, that sounds cold.
DeleteHopefully it will last and you can enjoy some peace and quiet.
ReplyDeleteI hope so.
DeleteWHAT?? A manager DID SOMETHING about a problem??? Holy cow.
ReplyDeleteI know, shocking.
DeleteA quiet week? Must have been a Christmas present from The Universe. Enjoy it. We should go below zero (or close to it) tonight. 15 above right now. We got over 5 inches of snow yesterday. I envy your 67 degree high of the week. Alana ramblinwitham.blogspot.com
ReplyDeleteOh that is cold. I'm hoping it stays quiet.
DeleteGood to know the apartment manager responded so promptly and the noise nuisance seems to have stopped (for the time being!)
ReplyDeleteI'm glad too.
DeleteWow, can't believe your complaint actually got results! Quiet is nice! Have a good week, Mary!
ReplyDeleteI was surprised too.
DeleteHow nice that the manager resolved the situation.
ReplyDeleteI am glad.
DeleteQuiet has to be a most welcome change!
ReplyDeleteOh it sure is.
DeleteWouldn't it be wonderful if the quiet was permanent!
ReplyDeleteSending my good wishes.
All the best Jan
Yay! So glad the complaint fixed the issue. That would be a lot living next to someone who was constantly loud.
ReplyDeleteYeah it is. Some people just don't realize how much noise they're making.
DeleteWell at least it worked.
ReplyDeleteMerry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
Is it a Christmas gift? Did Santa decided you should have a break? LOL.
ReplyDeleteIt was a nice break.
Deletemay they stay quiet!! I am sensitive to any noise, I'm excited for when I have to wear hearing aids because then I can take them out and have silence (I am assuming this....).
ReplyDeleteI do too. I can understand that.
DeleteSounds like a Christmas miracle LOL!
ReplyDeleteI know!
DeleteWoo Hoo! Sounds like a good week!
