Saturday Vittles

My Daughter and I are trying to eat more healthy so I thought I would share some pictures on Saturday's of what we've made. Most pictures are from my daughter since she takes good food pics. lol

For breakfast we had 2 scrambled eggs, 1 hashbrown, sliced cucumber, blueberries, strawberries, cantaloupe, sliced tomato and olives.

This breakfast was about 350 calories and 35 carbs because of the hashbrown.

I try to keep my carbs to under 150 carbs per day and I'm trying for 1200 calories a day but some days are 1500.

  1. Well done. I am not a breakfast person so the fruit would have been enough for me.

  2. Olives is an interesting addition to breakfast. Have you heard of the Glucose Goddess? She gives scientific advice for reducing your glucose spikes that are easy to do.

  3. That looks good. My wife makes homemade hash browns which cuts down on the fat.

  4. I don't eat in the mornings - just don't fancy it, but your breakfast looks good. You could eat it at any time of the day!

  5. I never used to eat breakfast until a few years ago; now I have to. This breakfast would be quite appealing to me. Alana ramblinwitham.blogspot.com

  7. That looks like the yummiest breakfast ever! Though I'd have to leave out the cantaloupe because I'm allergic to it.
